Number of E-commerce transaction is less while goal conversion count is more
-
Hi All,
As far as I know for one goal conversion I could have have more E-commerce transaction but in my case it is opposite I am getting e.g two goal conversion count for one e-commerce transaction or 6 goal conversion count for 3 E-commerce transaction. Why this is happening & How could I fix that?
Thanks

Without seeing you analytics I can't do much more, but with what you are saying I think you should re-look at how your thank you page is performing, see if that page is getting 2 around double as many page views as sessions, or if there are a large number of page views with less than 1 second, or if you look at your thank you page, is the previous page nearly 50% of the traffic. If your goal is set up correctly the only thing that could be causing this would be the page double loading in quick succession or having 2 copies of your GA code on the page.

Hi,
I have defined only one thank you page in goal set up, no automatic page reload.
@Hutch42 - What info do you want me to share here to find the main reason/resolve the problem?
Thanks

Hi there, did you see the response to your question from Hutch42? He brought up some good points.

How do you have your goal set up? it seems like your goal is firing twice, or you have an automatic page reload somewhere, unfortunately problems like this are hard to diagnose without being able to actually see your analytic's information. The best you can do is look at the rules defining your goals and see if they are to broad, if you are basing them off on an event that is hard coded onto your site then you should also look into your code to make sure it is not firing twice during a purchase.

Tracking Chat Conversions on WP?
We have a WordPress site where we use the plugin Chatra for our chats. It works great...except, that you cannot track conversions from Google Ads. There is another plugin called Apex that allows tracking, but their people answer the phone instead of ours. So does anyone know a way or a plugin where we can have chat enable on our website that our people are solely responsible for responding to that allows you to track conversions from Google Ads? Thanks, Ruben

Lead Conversion on Facebook
Hi Mozzers, We are currently running FB ads and I am wondering if I should rely on the facebook lead conversion metric https://cl.ly/412f1j1a021I. I tend to rely heavily on Google Analytics for this kind of data(by adding goals). Of course GA doesn't not show as much conversions as Facebook does. So which platform should I be relying on for conversion metrics? Thanks for letting me know!

Best practice to separate paid from organic conversions in Google Analytics
I have a PPC campaign for a client with standalone landing pages with a form, not reachable from the website (although in the same domain). I've added the AdWords conversion code to the "thank you" page and I also added a Goal in

Google Analytics whose counter is increased every time the thank you page is reached. This way I can track conversions with both AdWords and Analytics. Is that correct? Should I import back in AdWords the goals from Analytics, as suggested in the AdWords account? I have another landing page with a form in the website, where I send users coming from
organic search, so I set up a second goal in Analytics for the thank you page of this form. Is this the reason why I am supposed to import in AdWords the analytics' goals, so that I could see both kind of conversions in both accounts? But the most important question is: If I send both PPC/organic visitors to the same landing page is there still a way to separate PPC from Organic conversions? Thank you very much for your advice. Why are my Adwords Total Estimated Conversions Less than My Phone Call Conversions?
I'm having an issue with tracking some conversions in adwords. Google Adwords is saying I have 20 estimated total conversions in an account and 26 phone conversions. Adwords is saying that the phone conversions are included in the total, so I am confused as to how the part is having a higher total than the sum. Is there something I'm missing? Thanks!

What Cities from Around the World are Popular Hubs for E-Commerce Businesses?
I am trying to target e-commerce merchants to see my Google AdWords ads and would like to know what cities are most popular for e-commerce businesses. I know Delhi is a huge hub in India. I would also assume U.S. cities include Boston, New York, and Seattle. I would also assume London and probably Paris as well. What other cities do you recommend for geo-targeting e-commerce merchants? Thank you!

Analytics: Goal Tracking
I am trying to track goals in Google Analytics for a website that has the same goal URL for main website and various sub-domains. The main domain for example is: mymaindomain.com and the sub-domain are my1st.subdomain.com, my2nd.subdomain.com, etc. but the Goal URL is same for all the sub-domains and main domain, i.e. mymaindomains.com/pay/thanks.html. I have Google Analytics configured to track domains and all sub-domains and I’ve already setup the goal for each sub-domain and even created the funnel as well for each sub-domain. However, in goal tracking, it always shows “0”. I am also looking forward to get some help to set up an advanced filter so I can see traffic to my sub-domains in Analytics. Thanks!

Help with getting no conversions
Ok, so let me give you the breakdown here. So I have recently optimized this product and am trying to focus on getting this product to sell a couple times a week before I move onto the next product with SEO. Google has not updated my title and description yet to see if my SEO has been even somewhat successful, so I am waiting on that. While I have been waiting, I started a PPC campaign. I would say over the last 7 days I have had about 250 visitors to this page, however, none of them resulted in any questions about the product, no account signups, no orders that are incomplete and worst of all, No Sales. Here is a copy of the add. RC Nitro Truck 60MPH $219Buy Now Remote Control Nitro RC Truck. Redcat Racing Volcano S30 60 MPHwww.rcnitroshop.com Can someone look at the page and tell me if it looks fishy or if there is a reason you would not buy from this page? Any advice would be appreciated. Also, if you notice any critical SEO errors that would also help! I ran the on-page optimization through SEOMOZ and i got a letter grade of an A with everything 100%. Thanks in advance. I have been working 5-10 hours a day on this website and on eBay and would love for it to actually pay off someday lol. The links to the page are in that add above. Channel Conversion Rates
Hey Mozzers - i was hoping to have a discussion with you guys on conversion rates and would love any feedback on comparative metrics. I plan on keeping my client anonymous and feel free to do the same if you would like. Lets start with some background. This client is an online retailer selling golf training ads, the products range from $20-40, he is based out of the US and this site is targeting consumers (B2C). So far i have assisted him with some site analysis and setting up some pay-per-click campaigns. I feel like his site is doing pretty well conversion-wise but i have little experience with conversion metrics with ecommerce (mostly just lead generation, etc). Here is a quick break down on channel conversion rates: PPC: 0.8% - 1.7%
Paid Search Marketing | | kchandler
Organic: 6.8% - 15%
Direct: 6.2% - 13% His overall site conversion rate is between 2-3% So my question is to you guys. Is this average, above, or below in your past experiences? Based on my research a site conversion rate of 2-3 is pretty good for ecommerce, however i felt like my PPC conversion rate is kind of low. Thanks for the insight - Kyle1
