My Wordpress Organic Blog traffic disappeared and Google is indexing Viagra and Online Med titles for some articles. How to fix that?
-
Hello,
I'm worried that all my organic traffic has disappeared according to Analytics from past friday and now Google is showing results from my title tags in the last days as you can see here: http://goo.gl/QFSgy
Is there any additional resources I can read apart from Google Clean Your site Guidelines here https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/163634 or the Wordpress FAQ for hacked sites here? http://codex.wordpress.org/FAQ_My_site_was_hacked
Very much appreciated all of your help!
Regards.

I just added the plugin you recommended. I hope it works. Thanks for the tip http://wordpress.org/plugins/gotmls/

I agree with Streamline. We used Sucuri.net to clean up malware. Worpress sites are great but very buggy. They always get viruses. You have to buy extra protection. Sitelock is another good choice.

I highly recommend using this plugin to scan your site for malware/exploits and automatically fix them for you - http://wordpress.org/plugins/gotmls/
Then once the site is confirmed to be clean, submit your site to Google within GWT to get them to review your site and remove any malware warnings from the SERPs.

Planning an analytical article focused on link building. Do you have any suggestions on what you'd like to see analyzed in a data-backed study?
So far, I'm working backwards. Goal: product a data-rich piece of content that will help other agencies or internal marketing departments explain trends in link building and show the value in it. Means to gather data: Moz, Ahrefs, manual searching What is missing right now is the angle. I was thinking about taking 100 high volume keywords in the SaaS/software space, and looking for trends in the sites that rank well with regards to search volumes and number of links etc. This feels a bit weak to me. Any suggestions? I'd appreciate any insights so thank you for taking the time!

Index Page Dropped From Rankings
On average my site was getting ranked 3rd for "Tucson DUI Lawyer", Best Tucson DUI Lawyer, Tucson DUI attorney and etc. Recently my website fell for all of these keywords and I thought it is the best time to launch the new website. The problem is that my internal pages show up for some of the keywords on the third or fourth page but my index page doesn't show for any of them. Does it have anything to do with the site structure ? I have a lot of news excerpts on the homepage with links to the main posts. Here is the link: http://www.michaelharwinlaw.com/ Any help is sincerely appreciated.

WP Permalinks, categories, and organic ranking impact
Hello. this is my first post here, so I hope it to be a question with an easy answer... I am working on a site that has an established domain, but has recently suffered significant ranking decline. one of the problems I have found involves over-use of categories and tags - making the actual content 3 to 4 clicks deep within any given post URL. My question involves the restructuring of category / tag use for improved page content and SEO organic rank impact. Here is an example: domain.com/blue-shoes/blue-shoes-tampa I want to target this specific post and optimize for "blue shoes tampa". I have used the Wordpress SEO plugin by Yoast to help achieve balanced optimization on the on-page post content itself, but now am struggling with the best approach for the URL... also, the site has about 80 (62 posts and 18 pages) total items with similar issues, , so I am hoping that any answer / opinion offered here might also be applicable to the rest of the site. thanks in advance for your time & comments.
