Hi,

I want to add a explainer video on my header. This video introduce our online store, products and services.

Should it be host on YouTube or on my online store server.

I use BigCommerce shopping cart and I don't have to pay for bandwitch.

In a SEO point of view, what is the best option?

I think your best option is use youtube because has a Domain Authority really high. And point from those videos to your website.

YouTube videos have been very effective for us on our site. The only problem is they have taken part of a fair amount of our content so to google our pages may seem to have minimal content. Transcribing each video and including that on the page would take away from the look of the page and clutter it. Will pushing a visitor to a conversion page hosted on a 3rd-party domain hurt the landing page ranking

Had an interesting question from a client. The client has a page that is optimized for a specific term. The goal of the page is to push users to sign-up for a trial. The trial registration (conversion) page is hosted by a third-party. Will pushing users to the conversion page cannibalize the SEO authority of the landing page. My reflexive answer is to say no, but now am not so sure.

Undoing Video SEO

Ok, so here's a good one for you. I was ranking well (2-3rd) position when I got it into my head that I should implement some video SEO to get the video to appear next to my ranking. Well I did that with the help of Wistia. Only problem is my 2-3 ranking become 4-5, and I also became convinced that the page seemed less desirable as video content when I saw it in the rankings. So... I want to undo what I did. I removed the video sitemap and the SEO video markup from wistia, but it's been weeks and Google has still got me listed as video content. Any thoughts on how to accelerate the undoing of this damage?

How to make video snapshot appear near your search result

What's the proper way to have google display a video near the search result for my webpage (I'm using LeadPlayer to play videos). I think that the information regarding the video is there (I also submitted a video sitemap) but when I do a search the author picture is displayed instead of the video. Have I set anything wrong? How can I display the video if my post contains a video? Multi-Site SEO using Host Headers

Hi - I'm working on a proposal for a client who runs 3 different career websites. He uses "host headers" to direct the website visitor to the correct website. For example, if the visitor comes from Washington he goes to one url. If he is in Kansas, he goes to another URL. Does anyone have any experience doing SEO with this type of system?
