What is CSS/ HTML good for SEO ?
-
Hi forks
I dont know why Thesis and Genesis is good for SEO ? what is diffirent about website's code ( css/html). it is something about schema.org. i have to fix my website's code like that. thank U

Themes like Thesis and Genesis are mostly good for SEO because they contain all the necessary information for SEO, think about H1, H2 and other headings etc. So you even more have to bother about using these tags when coding your own template or pages (when you're not using a CMS like WordPress). However of course when you follow all the rules and comply to all Schema's available you can, of course create the same quality of code. Don't forget to check out Yoast 's review about Genesis here.

Restarting SEO when you move to different state
Hi every one, I have been working on my local citations but I have a blog which has been up for 4 years and has about 500 blog posts but I was living in NJ before and there is loads of stuff from jersey and also I have a lot of errors which is way too much to go back and fix like thousands since I am a photographer and loads of images. Would I be better off starting a new blog in my new SC region? my blog is feuzablogs.com and my main website is feuzareis.com so I thought of just doing a www.feuzareis.com/blog is it too much google juice to miss out on? is changing locations worth keeping blogging at this previous blog or should I just leave it up and start a new one which will be focused on new location? thanks

Anyone good at ranking on Yahoo?
I don't get Yahoo or Bing these days! I wrote a story "Did David Wineland and Serge Haroche Steal Idea For The Nobel Physics Prize?" It is a unique story, sourced from a prince. It is referenced on many other sites. It has had about 115,000 pageviews so far. most of those people read 2 or 3 pages. Do Yahoo or Bing list my story? No. They list all the referencing sites, they even list unrelated stories on my site that show that headline in the "top ten stories of the day" widget, but not the story itself. It has about 1250 shares. What am I doing wrong? http://buff.ly/WXso4P Is it page structure?

Is it advisable to have unique pages for different cities/states though there wouldnt be any actual differentiation in the actual content.
Is it advisable to have unique pages for different cities/states though there wouldnt be any actual differentiation in the content. For example should we have separate pages for "hammers in california" & "hammers in new york". The product is same and content more or less the same. The search volume for individual queries is low but collectively makes a large number. The unique title tag automatically will generate traffic. So does it make sense to make 50 such pages. Else is there any way to uniquely target 50 such queries/month/city

Does a directory running on a subdomain help or hurt SEO on the main site?
I have a blog, with a directory on the subdomain: directory.fbforbusinessmarketing.com. Is that smart for SEO, as it gives the overall domain more traffic? Or bad for SEO because of the different topics and all those outbound links? I'd appreciate opinions. Thanks.
