How to view the sources of visitors who bounced off in Google Analytics?
-
Hi there,
we have a website with a more than 60% bounce rate. I'm trying to find out where these visitors (the ones that are bouncing off) are coming from, to what percentage are they coming from the PPC campaign, from organic search results or referrals.
I suspect that the keywords from the PPC campaign are not relevant to the website content (and hence visitors are bouncing off).
Does anyone know how to check this in Google Analytics?
Thanks in advance!

Hi there
There is actually "Bounced Visits" segment you can select by default.
Go to Acquisition -> All Traffic and make sure the primary dimension selected is: Medium - so your data is grouped by paid, organic, direct etc.
Click the drop down arrow next to the default All Visits section at the top of the page and then click on the "Bounced Visits" tab to highlight it. You can deselect All Visits at this point or use it to compare.
You should be left with a report of the amount of bounced visits per medium type, which is hopefully what you're after.
Hope this helps.

Here is a technique that may work for you.
In Google Analytics, you can go to:
Acquisition...
Keywords...
Organic... (Or paid)Sort by highest bounce rate.
You may see a lot of one-offs that may not be very relevant, so it's useful to add some filtering.
So, set some advanced filters, such as:
Site usage... Bounce rate... greater than 50
Site usage... Visits... greater than 5.
Which may filter out some of the noise.
Sort by bounce rate to see the highest bounce rate keywords.
Remember that more than half will be not provided, probably, but this will give you a sampling of keywords with the highest bounce rate.
Also, perhaps the bounce rate is high because they found what they wanted to know on that page very quickly. Sometimes a satisfied visitor bounces.

Question about audience targeting in Google Ads
I am setting up a test campaign where rather than structuring my campaigns by the normal ad group>keywords with no targeting. I am making duplicates of my ad groups and targeting each duplicate to a different audience so I can target the ads better. But I also want my non targeted ad group to remain to pick up people who are not in my targeted ad groups. In the non targeted ad group, should I exclude all the audiences that I have targeted in the targeted ad groups to avoid any cross over? Thanks

Google Product Ads
Hi,
Paid Search Marketing | | ChrisHolgate
I was wondering if I could ask is perhaps someone could give me some clarification as to how the amount we bid on Google Product Ads reflects the product positioning on Google Shopping? We have a Google Product Data Feed which is then linked up to our Adwords account so that we can determine a PPC bid amount. In instances like this it doesn't seem to make sense that one person may be paying 10ppc and another 20ppc when the buyers criteria for sorting merchants was purely down to the price. Since the buyer has the option to sort their products in price from minimum to maximum the sort order cannot be manipulated by Google based on the amount the merchant was paying. As such, how is determining a cost per click figure relevant when the customer is searching by base price low > high on Google Shopping? Surely I should just set the limit to £0.01 and rely on the customer determining the sort order (which ultimately will lead to a higher conversion rate) than allowing Google to skew the results based on bidding 20-30 times this amount? I should state that I'm in the UK. I do realise that a high PPC amount will increase our chance of exposure on standard search pages but my question does relate solely to results listed on Google Shopping. Thanks for your help! How To Increase Clicks In Google Shopping?
I have about 613 furniture products in Google shopping and am getting about 2 clicks a day. Any tips on getting more clicks? Current budget is $10 a day at $0.01 per click bid. Should I increase my bid per click or add more products or both? Thanks!

Question regarding Google Adwords?
Just had a question regarding Google Adwords. I have an e-commerce store (kiwimodfurniture.com) in the furniture niche and I originally was planning to create a different ad group for each product. Since I have 1300 products I would have 1300 ad groups. However a lot of the products don't have enough search volume and Google won't display my ads. Then I decided to get a bit more broad. I plan on having an ad group for each sub category on my website. For example, modern lounge chairs, modern arm chairs, modern sofas, etc. Question: Is this too broad? Will the ROI be terrible because of this? Thanks!

Do UTM Parameters reflect in Google Analytics
Hi, We have recently enabled auto tagging in our URLs but not sure if tagging is working correctly. Does Google Analytics shows the utm parameters also in URLs in Google Analytics OR Google shows only the base url (after removing utm parameters) in Analytics. For example: Will http://www.abc.com/?utm_source=Indiaweb&utm_medium=Display&utm_campaign=CPC&utm_content=NRI_newprojects&utm_term=US be shown as is in Google Analytics under PAID Tab or only http://www.abc.com/ will be shown and the utm parameters will be removed in Analytics if auto tagging is enabled. Thanks in Advance 🙂 Regards Anirban

How Do You Remove the "Google Site Stats" Tag from a Conversion Page
Our company does not want it up there. Is there a way to remove it without have to change the conversion tracking code? It's quite a pain given our internal processes to overhaul many conversion codes. Is there an easy way to do this so that we can simply remove the tag?

How Can I Target Certain Countries in Google AdWords without Excluding Other Countries?
So, here is the situation: Our company works with merchants worldwide (with the exception of those who live in excluded high-risk countries--mostly in Africa), but most of our Google AdWords leads come from Indian merchants. My CEO wants our campaigns to convert leads from other countries (i.e., the UK, Germany, US, Canada, Australia, etc.), but I have no idea how to do that without excluding India. However, my CEO does not want to exclude India from our AdWords campaigns as the leads are profitable. We simply want more diversity with out leads in terms of geographic location. I am sure there are resources on the Web about how to do this, but I am not an Adwords expert and am unsure of what phrases to search to find the answers. Direct advice or helpful links are much appreciated. Regards,
