Moz Local Time Frame

I must have missed it. How long does it take Moz Local to do its thing once the service has been paid?
-
Hi Min,
Thanks so much for providing your honest feedback about your experience with Moz Local. If you created an account more than 8 weeks ago and aren't seeing completion on any of the 7 supported partners, I recommend you create a support ticket to have someone on the team look into it. -
Hi Yellabird,
MozLocal will get you listed with these 7 'big boys':
Infogroup
Acxiom
Nuestar/Localeze
Factual
Foursquare
Superpages
Best of the Web -
Thanks for the info Sam and Miriam.
I want to give my feeback and understanding of Moz Local. I believe Moz Local works and it's helped me in resolving all duplicates and inconsistencies but I can honestly say it's been more then two months and it still has not fully updated with the main players ((waiting) Infogroup, (waiting) Neustar Localeze, (updated) Acxiom, and (updated) Factual).
If anyone is interested in Moz Local then it's a great base to assist in laying the foundation information but keep in mind not all of the information in your CSV file will load evenly across the board. I've had experiences where the map data is understood on one aggregator and ignored on others. I've had the same experience with other data especially photos.
Moz Local is very good at laying at base but don't consider it to be a 100% solution, it does require additional updating on your part.

Thanks for the reply. Typically how many citations get built utilizing this service?
-
Hi Yellabird,
You'll be able to track the progress of your listings being submitted by us and updated by our partners by logging into your Moz Local account and looking at the row of little circles next to your business information in the dashboard. You can mouse over each circle to see what it means.
I also want to update this thread with new information regarding typical time frames for achieving completion. This is really more like 8 weeks than 4 weeks.
Hope this helps!

If we successfully uploaded a csv and paid, will we be notified when listings have gone live?
-
Update from the Moz Support Team: Please read our update timeframes guide for avoiding delay.
Hi Min,
Thanks for reaching out!
The time it takes our partners to update the listing really depends on whether or not they have an API. If they do have an API, the listing will be updated pretty much immediately. If they run on a traditional database (Acxiom is one), it can take up to 4 weeks.
Let us know if you have any other questions and hope you have a great day!

Bump...
A simple response will do. Does propagation take roughly a month, a couple weeks, etc. ?

Increase Moz authority above 26
Hi, I have been using Moz for 12 months and found some very useful features. My site’s score steadily increased from 18 to 26. But I seem to have now ‘hit a wall’ and my Moz ranking is static. My question is: Where on Moz.com can I find what next steps I need to take to improve my Moz score? Thanks in advance. Matt

Canonical in Moz crawl report
I'm wondering if the moz bot is seeing my rel="canonical" on my pages. There are 2 notices that are bothering me: Overly Dynamic URL Rel Canonical Overly Dynamic URL - This notice is being generated by urls with query strings. On the main page I have the rel="canonical" tag in the header. So every page with the query string has the canonical tag that points to the page that should be indexed. So my question...Why the notice? Isn't this being handled properly with the canonical tag? I know I can use my robots.txt or the tool in Google search console but is it really necessary when I have the canonical on every page? Here is one of the links that has the "Overly Dynamic URL" notice, as you can see the the canonical in the header points to the page without the query string: https://www.vistex.com/services/training/traditional-classroom/registration-form/?values=true&course-title=DMP101 – Data Maintenance Pricing – Business Processes&date=March 14, 2016 Rel Canonical - Every page in my report has this notice "Using rel=canonical suggests to search engines which URL should be seen as canonical". I'm using the rel="canonical" tag on all of my pages by default. Is the report suggesting that I don't do this? Or is it suggesting that I should? Again...why the notice?

How can I find duplicate pages from a Moz Crawl?
We have many duplicate pages that show up on the Moz Crawl, and we're trying to fix these but it's very difficult because I can't see a way to isolate the code where the duplicate is found. For instance, http://experiencemission.org/immersion/ is one of our main pages, and the crawl shows one duplicate of http://experiencemission.org/immersion. It appears that one of our staff manually edited the source code in one of our pages but forgot the trailing slash. This would be an easy fix but the problem is that this page is linked to internally on our website 2423 times, so it's next to impossible to find the code that is incorrect. We have many other pages with this same basic problem. We know we have duplicates, but it's next to impossible to isolate them. So my question is this: When viewing the Moz Crawl data is there any way to see where a specific duplicate page link is located on our website? Thanks for any and all help!

How can I find the old ERRORS and WARNINGS report in the NEW Moz design?
I'm looking for a complete list of errors and bugs that need to be fixed within a website. I used to use the MAIN tool (at least it seemed it was the most popular) but now that its just MOZ.com I can't seem to find that great report. It had data such as: 1. List of pages with Title Tags too long 2. List of pages with Description Tags too long 3. List of RED errors and YELLOW warnings, BLUE somethings... etc... Ring a bell? I LOVED this report, where can I find this data? Thanks! Derek

Moz bar issues? Does anyone else have them?
At times it's unbelievably slow and other times it doesn't show any link data. It's not just on my computer, it's on other office computers too. I'm using Google Chrome and have tried removing the mozbar and reinstalling from the chrome bar.

Moz reporting reliable?
I have been working with our MIS department on addressing our errors on duplicate content and titles caused by parameter URLs. MIS insists that they have solved the problem with canonical tags, which are in place. They said they were getting warnings from Google and Bing, but that after they put the canonical tags in place, those went away. They are questioning the Moz reports, suggesting that I instead rely on SEO Toolit by Microsoft. (As an aside, we are using SharePoint 2010, crossing our fingers for an upgrade to 2013, which presumably will make a lot of the issues we’re having go away). So my questions are: 1) Why are these Moz reports reporting all of these errors that have supposedly been rectified (in 2011)? Do I disregard the duplicate content/title errors on the Moz report and defer to SEO Toolkit, as MIS suggests?
