-
Hello,
I have a website and working more than 1 year ago,I worked hard last year and paid alot to make guys write articles from my website to other forums so my keywords rank high and got good visitors,
then I get in much care in SEO and found SEOMoz with is very nice, when I downloaded the tool bar it was a shock to find my website is almost zero although the big effort I had,
I can do more but I need to guide what I exactly need to improve my website,I almost read alot of the beginner PDF and got good information to work with and can hire people to help too.
I did a real big work sharing my subjects and i can see them in top#5 google but for other sites and now i found I am still zero
adding my links inside also didnt help or counted.
attached the statistics of the website and the competitors site to let me know which important things to take care to jump over.
would be very thankful for detailed help,
Best Regards

Here are some challenges that stand in the way of getting good advice in this forum.
- It is very difficult to understand exactly what you have done because English is not your native language. That makes us guess at a lot of things that you are trying to tell us. Precise information is essential.
- Without seeing your content we must make guesses about its quality.
- Without knowing where your links are coming from we must make guesses about their quality.
- Without seeing your website we must make guesses about how it is set up and if it is working properly.
Based upon the above I suggest that you find an experienced and successful SEO who speaks your language (and the language of your website) and hire him/her to advise you.
Finally, you have been working for one year. Other people own websites where they have been working for five, ten or fifteen years. Even if you have done everything properly you may need more time to catch up.

Thanks for your response,
1- not all of them exactly, but maybe half to the direct url no deeper.i am talking about thousands of articles posted the last maybe 40 or 50 times than what I see in the link indexed as backlinks.
2- i think yes too they are follow links.
3- not at all,i need to submit more.
Thanks.

Hi
- Are the articles which you had written linking to home page or to a deeper page on your site?
- Have you checked if the article links are follow links as some article sites dont give follow links until you reach a threshold eg 10 articles accepted
- Have you submitted your site to (good)directories as these can help. Try www.getlisted.org which simplifies submission for yelp, qype etc
-
thanks..
it is more than 1 year working spreading my articles with my website link inside,
the total is almost zero in 1 year
so i need to know where is the mistake and how to improve others,
Best Regards.

Hi there,
Dont be alarmed by those numbers. If you added links in the last 60 days or so, they may not be included yet in OSE. Link building is an ongoing process, so you just need to keep at it and the numbers will improve.

Our client's site was owned by former employee who took over the site. What should be done? Is there a way to preserve all the SEO work?
A client had a member of the team leave on bad terms. This wasn't something that was conveyed to us at all, but recently it came up when the distraught former employee took control of the domain and locked everyone out. At first, this was assumed to be a hack, but eventually it was revealed that one of the company starters who unhappily left the team owned the domain all along and is now holding it hostage. Here's the breakdown: -Every page aside from the homepage is now gone and serving a 404 response code -The site is out of our control -The former employee is asking for a $1 million ransom to sell the domain back -The homepage is a "countdown clock" that isn't actively counting down, but claims that something exciting is happening in 3 days and lists a contact email. The question is how we can save the client's traffic through all this turmoil. Whether buying a similar domain and starting from square one and hoping we can later redirect the old site's pages after getting it back. Or maybe we have a legal claim here that we do not see even though the individual is now the owner of the site. Perhaps there's a way to redirect the now defunct pages to a new site somehow? Any ideas are greatly appreciated.

How Long To Recover Rankings After Multi-Day Site Outage?
Hi, A site we look after for a client was down for almost 3 days at the start of this month (11th - 14th of May, to be exact). This was caused by my client's failure to verify their domain name in accordance with the new ICANN procedures. The details are unimportant, but it took a long while for them to get their domain name registration contact details validated, hence the outage. Very soon after this down time we noticed that the site has slipped back in the Google rankings for most of the target keywords, sometimes quite considerably. I guess this is Google penalizing this client for their failure to keep their site live. (And they really can't have too many complaints about this, in my opinion). The good news is that the rankings show signs of improving again slightly. However, they have not recovered all the way to where they were before the outage, two weeks ago. My question is this ... do you expect that the site will naturally re-gain the previous excellent rankings without us doing anything? If so, how long do you estimate this could take? On the other hand, if Google typically penalizes this kind of error by 'permanently', is there is anything we can do to help signal to Google that the site deserves to get back up to where is used to be? I am keen to get your thoughts, and especially to hear from anyone who has faced a similar problem in the past. Thanks

This website is ranking for a very high competitive keyword "bail bonds los angeles" http://www.bondgirlsbailbonds.com/ They maybe have one backlink and 10 citations. How are they ranking for 2nd spot? This doesn't seem possible. Almost 5 other domains on page have pr2 and higher and not able to beat this site. How Often is Site Crawled
Good morning- I saw some errors in my first crawl and immediately removed the pages from my website. I then re-created my XML sitemap and uploaded to Google. The question I have is will the site be crawled to recognize the changes in the next day or so? The pages were just placed on the site as test pages and never removed. The initial crawl that notified me it was done found the errors and were removed. Thanks for your help. Peter

Mini site links?
Can anyone point me to information about the "mini" site links on the Google search results or tell me how to get them set up? These aren't the full site links that show 3 by 3 under the first listing but small text links that appear for certain results. (See attached image for reference.) Are these something that can controlled/requested? NAj6E.png

Adding more content to an old site
We have a site which was de-moted from PR4 to PR3 with the latest Google update. We have not done any SEO for a long time for the site and the content is the same with over 100 page. My question is, in order to update the site, which is the best to do it, do we: 1. re-introduced new content to replace old once 2. re-write old content 3. Add new pages Many thanks in advance.
