Is there a tool on Moz or out on the internet that does bad link checker
-
I'm still pretty new to this and I was wondering if there is a free software, one of Moz or free out on the the internet that allows you to check bad links. I've done a lot of link building with citations and directories that for my clients industry. I just don't want to add their website and profile to a bad/risky directory and it penalizes my clients. I've seen a few out there, but I need one that is respectable and reliable. Any suggestions? I found one called bad neighborhood http://www.bad-neighborhood.com/text-link-tool.htm.
Thanks Again,
Benny

Hi Benny,
Here is a link removal flowchart from BruceClay that can be handy while you audit the link profile of a web property:

Hi, there are no real short cuts other than a bit of hard work for checking you can use sites like https://www.majesticseo.com/reports/neighbourhood-checker as a quick guide. A paid option is link Detox but because its algorithm based it still required you to sort though it or you might miss a perfect site that was accidentally picked up for being "bad". Generally I try to avoid software like link detox because normally people use it to bulk check and it can do more harm than good.
You might find this Q&A very helpful - http://moz.com/community/q/find-and-monitor-possible-bad-links

I don’t see any reliable tool when it comes to bad link checking but if paid is an option for you then I have personally use Link Detox and it works great for me. Link Risk is another tool that I would recommend as I know the people behind that tool and they are amazing brains of the search industry.
Hope this helps!

[Moz Help] Re: Trying to add a valid URL into MOZ account
See below and pls let us know what we have to do solve this : | | Joel Day (Moz Help) Mar 07 05:03 PM Hey Tracy, It looks like there's a redirect loop on your site. greatwesternflooring.com redirects to www.greatwesternflooring.com/ which in turn 302 redirects back into itself. You'll likely need to fix the redirect before you can continue configuring the campaign. 🙂 Thanks!

Link report that is broken down by C Block?
I've tried to do this in the advanced reports are of Moz, but to no avail. I just want to be able to see all the links (and anchor text would be nice too) for each CBlock.

Competitive analysis of inbound links
I am trying to figure out how to best use SeoMoz tools to do some competitive analysis of inbound links. With the site explorer tool I can "compare Link Metrics" I see that a competitor is beating me on External Followed Links and Total Linking Root domains. I want to dig further into this data and see how these are distributed. What I am really after is which root domains are sending them the most links. Knowing that 20k of their links are coming from 5 specific root urls would be great to know. Is there anywhere that I can see this data. Ideal column headers would be: Linking Root Domain of Followed Links (from this root domain) Linking Domain Authority The ability to drill down from there into specific links would be mind blowing. Is there any way to browse this type of data in SeoMoz?

External Links through Open site explorer
I have just ran an Open site explorer query on our site due to having one of a constant ranking keywords drop, and found that we have 48 new links appear on the report under the anchor text 'home' These are not normal links, and I cannot see where or how these have been connected to our site for example: <colgroup span="1"><col span="1" width="696"></colgroup>

What are they? How can I get them removed, and let google know this was nothing to do with us? Thanks S |0 -
Ultimate Ranking Tool integrating Analytics / Adwords / Google WM Tools
I currently use SEOMOZ Campaigns and Advanced Web Ranking for monitoring our KW rankings and those of competition. AWR is a brilliant tool with so many different reports, methods of viewing etc. SEOMOZ campaigns are good but don't come close to the monitoring power of AWR (EG I monitor over 50 competitors on over 1000 KW's on a Daily basis with AWR and recieve a variety of set emailed reports on the data). However, one thing that SEOMOZ campaigns have that is useful is the traffic data - but this is still a bit basic and I think could be improved. The problem with AWR is that it doesn't integrate with your Analytics / Adwords / Google WM Tools - so it is only showing you half the picture. Knowing how your site ranks for each keyword is helpful, but it would be nice to understand the value of each keyword. For example, being able to see your rank position and how much traffic that keyword has sent you over time would be helpful. It would also be nice to see the number of searches that are performed for that keyword each month . For example, lets say I saw that I was ranking at number 11 for “hover mower” and getting 500 hits per month. Two months from now, if I was ranking at position 7, it would be nice to be able to immediately see how that changed the amount of traffic I was receiving for the term. Is a position of 11 (first item on page two) better than position 10 (last item on page one)? If you can link it to your analytics, you could then link it to your goals, and goal values to get a complete picture of where your keywords rank the value of the rank, and the improvment on that value when rank changes. If browsed around for such software but can't find anything like this - does anyone know of any software that can do this - or something close to this? Many thanks
