Just a quick note that you may want to edit out your personal information (phone numbers). This is usually best shared via a PM so it doesn't get into the index and stay there forever. Thanks!

We have been doing Ecommerce Optimization for a couple years now and have worked with many varieties of online shops. Getting their products listed on comparison shopping engines like Nextag, Pricegrabber, Google Product Search, and Bing Merchant Center used to be challenging. We use tools to help us alot. For example Godatafeed while complicated to grasp at first streamline the process of getting your products to the engines. Also, shopping cart platform make a difference in how your online efforts will work out. Since we do SEO and ecommerce work it is a good fit for us since we can do it all in house. If you need some help still just let me know and I will try to help you get off on the right foot. It is all about sharing the experience!
Wish you the best.

Well if you are starting off the 1st advice is to of course apart from standard On-page optimization for the main pages to build unique content description for most of your products. The reason is that while you are waiting and working on the main page to rank for the 1st keyword you will start ranking well for long tail keywords that are specific to your product. The advantage of ranking well 1- 5 for a product page is that not only your conversion rate is much higher (specific searches => higher conversion rate) and also more value your inner pages get the more juice it will pass on to the main page. Of course not forgetting the main pages optimization & link building.
Hope it helps.. PM if you need more inside advice... i just did a shop recently so i kind of know a bit

How do I prevent duplicate page title errors from being generated by my multiple shop pages?
Our e-commerce shop has numerous pages within the main shop page. Users navigate through the shop via typical pagination. So while there may be 6 pages of products it's all still under the main shop page. Moz keeps flagging my shop pages as having duplicate titles (ie shop page 2). But they're all the same page. Users aren't loading unique pages each time they go to the next page of products and they aren't pages I can edit. I'm not sure how to prevent this issue from popping up on my reports.

Optimizing my images to appear on Google Images
My website ranks at the top for my keywords, but my images barely show up on Google Images. I'm renaming them, tagging them, I'm not sure what else I can possibly do. Any suggestions? Thanks!

What are some best practices for optimizing alternate versions of a brand name?
What are the best methods for ensuring that the correct spelling/formatting of a brand name rank in the SERP when an alternate formatting/spelling of the brand name is searched. Take for example the brand name (made up for example purposes), "SuperFry". Many customers search using the term "Super Fry" (with a space). To make things worse, not only does Google not return the brand name SuperFry, but it also auto corrects to another brand name "Super-Fri". Is there a common best practice to ensure the customer finds the intended brand name when they simply add a space in the search term? I assume a quick fix would be to create an ad words campaign for the alternate spellings/formatting. What about an organic solution? Perhaps we could create a special page talking about the alternate ways to spell the brand name? Would this solution send mixed signals to Google and potential hurt the over all rankings? Thanks much for any advice!

How can the search engines can crawl my java script generated web pages
For example when I click in a link of this movie from the home page, the link send me to this page http://www.vudu.mx/movies/#!content/293191/Madagascar-3-Los-Fugitivos-Madagascar-3-Europes-Most-Wanted-Doblada but in the source code I can't see the meta tittle and description and I think the search engines wont see that too, am I right? I guess that only appears the source code of that "master template" and that it is not usefull for me. So, my question is, how can I add dynamically this data to every page of each movie to allow crawl all the pages to the search engines? Thank you.

Optimal Structure for Forum Thread URL
For getting forum threads ranked, which is best and why? site.com**/topic/**thread-title-goes-here site.com**/t/**thread-title-goes-here site.com**/**thread-title-goes-here I'd take comfort in knowing that SEOmoz uses the middle version, except that "q" is more meaningful to a human than "t". The last option seems like the best bet overall, except that users could potentially steal urls that I may want to use in the future. My old structure was site.com/forum/topic/TOPIC_ID-thread-title-goes-here so obviously any of those would be a vast improvement, but I might as well make the best choice now so I only have to change once.

Optimizing one site for multiple countries
I am working on a project, where we have one website, with a country specific domain, which is currently ranking well in local search. The client now wants to expand his business into two new countries (all english speaking) and would like to rank for the same keywords in these two new countries. The customer do not want to create new websites for the new countries. Because its a local domain and the website is setup for local search in GWT with locally hosted server, i expect challenges in optimizing for new countries without impacting the current local ranking. Question 1: What would be the recommended approach for maintaining their existing ranking on local search, while optimizing for the new countries.

Can Search Engines Read "incorrect" urls?
I know that ideally a url should be something of the nature domain.com/topic, but if the url contains additional characters, for example, domain.com/topic?keyword, can the search engines still understand the complete words in the domain? Even though there are additional "incorrect" characters? Or do they stop "reading" once they find odd characters? Thanks!

On page optimisation: Good for the users and engines?
I would like to rank for words as:
Technical SEO | | madsurfer
windsurfing equipment
windsurfing news
windsurfing sails
windsurfing boards etc. Now am I wondering if I should use exact those words in the navigation/titles/descriptions because it seems not user friendly. The whole website is about windsurfing thus naming it just “equipement” instead of “windsurfing equipment” would be clear to a visitor that I am talking about that windsurfing related topic. Here is an example: http://madwindsurfing.com/cat/competitions-events/
I can even change the URL to http://madwindsurfing.com/cat/windsurfing-competitions-events/ What would be the best way of choosing the naming/descriptions when I do on-page optimisation which is good for the engines and for the users and who would you do in my case?0
