Keyword whit accent (é, è, ê) ?
-
Hi all !
I have a quick question. On one of the site im working, my principal keyword im working whit have a accent such as é or è or ĉ. How does google seen it ?
When im trying to see a page in cached version to see what google is suppose to see, i often see my keyword whit @ or other weird sign in it. Does it affect my keyword ranking ? Can i lose autority ? Should i hide some "no accent keyword" somewhere on the page ? Cause some of them make no sense whitout it.
Thanks !

So i guess i could just fill the text on the page whit Keyword whit accent since it make sense and replacing url and picture ID and Alt= whit non-keyword accent. It would prolly restore the balance.
Ty for your help !

Hello!
I'm from Brazil and also thought about that, so let's see:
If I search about café or cafe (it means coffee in portuguese), the Google Adwords broad match doesn't care much, it gets them as the same, with Local Search Volume of 3,500,000 for both.
But in the Google Adwords Exact Match, it goes different:
Local Search Global Search
café 27,100 60,500
cafe 18,100 246,000
So, it seem that you can use in theory both keyword for Broadsearch, but you are going to lose some when it goes Exact.
So you have to see which one is the best one for you, that brings more traffic and at the same time a good conversion.
1)You're going to have a keyword ranking for each of the words.
2)I don't recommend you to hide a "no accent keyword" because Google can see it as a Black Hat and punish you.
3)And if some of the words don't make sense without the accent, you should use them with it, because you can't forget your users, because won't make sense to them either. Therefore, it's going to have a big bounce rate.
Hope it helps! =]

Google Keyword Planner - Just PPC?
Morning Mozzers, Please help a layman learn. This is probably a silly question but when I look at keyword search data in Google's Keyword Planner Tool and I see "COMPETITIVE" or "LOW" am I looking at all searches inclusive of organic and PPC? I have been a bit confused by logging in through an Adwords account? At the moment to get my keyword research I am using a combination of Moz, Webmaster Tools, Keyword Planner. I have had a look at the free version of SEMrush which looks really cool. Is my approach right using these tools? Am I covering all bases / missing key opportunities? Regards Ben

Way of including Keyword into content
Hi all! My website is that of a large 7 bedroom luxury villa in Barbados (www.bruadair.com). Now, I am having problems understanding how i can include my targeted keywords in to my content without it looking unnatural and disrupting the quality of the content. I wish to use the keyword phrase 'Large luxury villa in Barbados' however including this directly into on-page elements seems to look unnatural. My current content on my home page is as follows 'Bruadair is a large luxurious villa situated on the prestigious Platinum West Coast of Barbados, located in a beautiful tropical setting with gorgeous beaches just minutes walk away' I want to rank for this keyword however changing to 'Bruadair is a large luxurious villa in Barbados, located in a beautiful tropical setting with gorgeous beaches just minutes walk away' degrades the quality of the content... is there anyway i can get round this issue? I greatly appreciate any help/advice given to my problem! Thanks once again, T

How to Choose the Best Keywords for a Website
I am working with an insurance agency that wants to target the below types of insurance in Dalton GA, Ringold GA, Chattanooga TN and and/or Georgia. Home Insurance
Keyword Research | | lagunaitech
Auto Insurance
Health Insurance
Life Insurance
Restaurant Insurance
Contractor Insurance They are a new agency that doesn't have a website yet and only a small online marketing budget. Right now, I'm starting to work with them on their new site and want to make sure the on-site SEO works with the insurance/locations they want to target. What I'm having trouble with is the volume of monthly searches and trying to find keywords that they could realistically get some traffic and leads from. Most of the keywords I check with the Adwords tool are less than 50 exact match searches or just show a dash. The only keywords with a decent amount of exact searches are the main insurance types like "restaurant insurance" or "home insurance Georgia". How can I get an idea of the number of leads and amount of traffic this site might get when most of the keywords searched for only a handful of times per month? I can build the site to easily target all the above types of insurance in Dalton, GA, which has a population of about 33,000, but I don't know what kind of results this agency might expect if they were to rank in the top 3 spots. Thanks in advance for any ideas or advice!0 -
E-commerce Categories
Hello fellow SEOmozers! I'm rebuilding out e-commerce site and have a question about categories. We sell branded servers, workstations, storage and related parts/upgrades. I know that nesting categories too deep is not recommended (and slows down the shopping cart), however if were to create more main categories then I'm affraid of keyword stuffing or spamming, do you think this would be ok or what would you recommend I do in my situation? <colgroup><col width="131"></colgroup>

How to find easy keywords to rank for?
We've got fantastic results from a keyword here. After we signed up for SeoMoz, we found that, for luck, this was a very easy keyword (1%) to rank for. How can I find more easy keywords?

I have one seperate page for each of the installations I carry out as well as the basic home, about, areas, faqs and so on. My question is do i have one key phrase for each of the services i cover or do i just relate all the keywords from that service into the keywords tag ie, META name=keywords content="Digial aerials Stockport, digital aerials Manchester, aerials Stockport, aerials Manchester, aerial repairs Stockport, aerial repairs Manchester, digital, aerial,tv,tv aerials Manchester,tv aerials Stockport, arials, arial, aerial installer, aerial installations, aeril installation,Stockport,Manchester ,"> That is what i have fro Tv aerial installation, Should i make landing pages for each phrase for each service or stick to one page? www.redvalecommunications.co.uk is the site if you want to take a look thanks in advance
