Anyone had an Extensive Look at Hubspot SEO Features and Tools ?
-
Mozz,
Some co-workers are looking into some of the of tools that Hubspot offer as part of there marketing package, I understand it is part of a bigger picture for the hubspot software and moz is much more focused on technical seo etc,
But i am just wondering if anyone had spent any extensive time using the hubspot software and has any feedback on the tools? Is there anything (Just the seo section) that moz cannot ? there are alot of really great moz tools i use that i haven't seen in the hubspot software, like the crawl test, the onpage grading doesn't look at as many aspects as moz, link information and opportunities looked limited compared to moz/majestic seo , no landing page tool like the one built into moz analytics campaigns and hubspot just generally seemed to provide less information ?
Any advice or feedback would be grealy appreciated ?
Thanks
James

Thanks i strongly agree and much prefer Moz for technical seo tools from what i have seen,
However i am just looking for any feedback on what they offer to advise some co-workers, It is bloody expensive overtime also,

I looked at Hubspot, but decided not to use it in the end. I didn't think it offered anything extra that Moz doesn't. It was also expensive (if I remember rightly). And I like Moz, best of all the SEO tools...

Anyone Recommend HIBU
Has anyone used HIBU as a source for inbound links? I'm really just getting my site started with serious link building. Google sees 94 links. MOZ sees way less than that, but MOZ sees WAY more on my competitors' sites. It appears that the sites which HIBU influences, owns, or has ties with, have decent DA stats. However, they make you sign up for an entire year with no guarantee of results. They say "we'll work real hard" to get things right. But with no trial period, and a mandatory layout of around $500, that's not sitting well with me. I'm just wondering if anyone has used them and what you think of them?? Thanks, Billy

Does Moz have any tools to see the amount of traffic certain keywords bring us in search? Does anyone know any tools that give the actual traffic numbers?
We're looking for numerical data on the amount of traffic that keywords receive, regardless of their rank in Moz. Thanks!

I need to find a writer that is SEO savvy yet great with hooks, editing, and.....
I need to find a writer that is SEO savvy yet great with 1. Hooks (like hooking the user in. This site for instance has "Inbound marketing is complicated. Moz's software makes it easy". 2. Editing - Someone that is again SEO savvy, and doesn't mind editing my text. (Focused mainly on the text for the site right now, articles will be later.) 3. Explaining something complicated in a simple way that engages the user. Anyone have any suggestions? Maybe even someone they use / used? Or which site do you all like best for finding a writer? I registered at textbroker.com but maybe need to look harder...just wasn't seeing anyone that matched that criteria. My budget isn't high, but I believe in paying for quality, so even if I have to pay a high rate for excellent work, they'll also have to be cool with me only doing a page here and a page there every few days or so, as my writing budget for my new site is only $50-$120 a week right now.

How reliable are the external link metrics found in the Open Site Explorer research tool?
I have noticed huge discrepancies with the external link metrics of one of the websites that I have been tracking since the launch of the website. Shortly after launch I captured a screenshot of the external link metrics to the website to track the progress. As I look at the same Open Site Explorer metrics now (2 months later) it has increased by 900% which is very inconsistent with the amount of link building done for the client. Thanks!

Keyword Difficulty Tool not working!
Hello everyone, I quite new to the pro service and I am still on my free trial and I have to say that it is perfect! However, I haven't been able to use the keyword difficulty tool for a couple of days as it keeps saying that there is a problem and that I should try again in 20 minutes. I tried several times and 9 out of 10 times I get this message. I have only managed to get a couple of keywords analyzed. Keep in mind that most of the times I am not using English terms but since it worked in the past I would think that this is not the problem. Any thoughts on how to fix this issue? Thanks in advance!

Hey from a New guy to SEO
Hi everybody!!! Hope everybody is dandy. Have spent a long time looking into SEOmoz and decided to just take the plunge and see what happens. Im quite new to the world of SEO but I really want to get good at it. Hoping Moz and this community will aid with this! Currently in the process of reading the SEO beginners guide and the SEOmoz user guide! The two sites that I am currently working on are: 1. www.advanced-incar.co.uk 2. www.advanced-incarcamerasystems.com The first site seems to have crawled well and have entered my competitors and am getting some info back (looks like I have a lot of work to do judging by the errors D'oh) In the world of Google what is the best way to ensure you have authority on certain terms. For instance if I search advanced-incar we are top and we have all our sitelinks underneath etc etc, but when I search advanced incar we are second and as such we don't display sitelinks. Any ideas? The second site was built using 1&1 and gives us a good little site for what we need. I have found out through research the most popular keywords are in car camera & in car cameras. Currently Im using Adwords to get us sponsored hits which is getting us some nice traffic but costing a bit. Those are the two main keywords i want this site to really hit home with. Any advice? Also on this site, when I go to SEOmoz and select Link Analysis I get no info. It just shows 0 or 0.0 wheras my competitor sites all have values against them. Is something wrong with my site or what im doing? (Have added an example screenshot) I appreciate its a long ended question but would really appreciate some help. Hoping that the guides will help me understand all this linkjuice stuff etc as well! Thanks guys, really appreciative of any info you can provide. Bad code on Learn Seo Redirection info Page
Is it just me, or is the Redirection resource page missing the exclamation point (!) in this code. If so, this could really mess someone's site up if they copy and paste. http://www.seomoz.org/learn-seo/redirection http://screencast.com/t/n7lknZ32G9xF Redirecting Canonical Hostnames: The original developers at SEOmoz needed to redirect any requests that do not start with www.seomoz.org to make sure they included the www. They did this not only because it looks better, but to avoid common canonicalization errors. Redirect: http://seomoz.org/To: http://www.seomoz.org/ Redirect: http://mail.seomoz.org/To: http://www.seomoz.org Redirect: http://seomoz.org/somefile.phpTo: http://www.seomoz.org/somefile.php Solution: Add the following directive: RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^seomoz.org [NC]RewriteRule (.*) http://www.seomoz.org/$1 [L,R=301] Explanation: This directive tells apache to examine the host the visitor is accessing (in this case: seomoz.org), and if it does not equal www.seomoz.org redirect to www.seomoz.org. The exclamation point (!) in front of www.seomoz.org negates the comparison, saying “if the host IS NOT www.seomoz.org, then perform RewriteRule.” In our case RewriteRule redirects them to www.seomoz.org while preserving the exact file they were accessing in a back-reference. *emphasis added by me
