What are some powerful reviews websites for online-only businesses?
-
Looking for a small handful of places that I can lead customers to, following a transaction with my dot com (i.e., no brick and mortar presence) business, so that they can leave reviews
Chiefly interested in the sites that Google is most likely to notice
Thanks!

Google notices a series of review sites that it then uses to help support its ads and also consumers when making an informed decision about a product or service.
The reviews will in most cases be pulled into Google ads and displayed as an aggregate Star rating. You will also be able to click the ratings to see all the reviews. e.g. https://www.google.co.uk/shopping/seller?q=caravanguard.co.uk
Your start ratings will appear in your google ads if you have more than 30 reviews over 3 stars in the previous 12 months.
As for selecting a site to push your reviews to I would suggest you read this post.
1. Click on the + We base seller ratings on a number of sources including:
2. Then Click + We feature reviews via feeds from these independent review websites. It lists all those who are in effect Google Partners (Feefo, TrustPilot, Revoo and many more) these are probably best sites to use if you want a connection. However, do not discount the use of Facebook, G+ for further social proof and trust factors that consumer now crave when making in informed desicion about a purchase.
Finally as a note - if you do not use any of the Google Partner sites, make sure you bring some reviews to hold on your own site, maybe a simply review collection form, You can then use the schema for rating to display your aggregate ratings in your organic listings, this helps them to stand out from the rest.
See here for Aggregate Ratings Schema and here for individual ratings.
Hope this helps.

Yotpo is a good review system. I have used it for a long time and I love it. The customers have a pretty easy time using it also. I hear good feedback from them. Have you looked into Google Trusted Stores? They offer a review system as well.

Google also pulls reviews from around the web. I have seem some from Yelp, Facebook, and n49 personally. Although I am in Canada so that may influence it to a degree. If you have reviews around the web and want to see if Google finds them then Login to you My Business account https://www.google.com/business they list reviews from around the we and where they found them.

resellerratings.com is one, but there aren't a huge number of these. Sites that are online presence only usually get reviews via industry relevant blogs on the front-end, i.e. a blogger buys and reviews the product and places the review on their own site. Google will definitely notice these as they're almost always linking back to the company / online store.

Client wants to delete Google My Business Due to Bad Review
My client has received a bad review on Google and although has other good ones, wants to delete the current Google My Business page and open a new one. I disagree with this strategy but need some evidence to back it up. They are ranking well and so I don't want to upset the cart. I need reasons not to in terms of potentially harming rankings. Am I right that this could impact?

Business name change - Impact on reviews?
Hi I have a client who has created multiple GMB listings for his business using the same address, post code and phone number and I am trying to sort it all out. 2 of the listings have 1 review and 1 of them has 13 reviews. Obviously i want to keep the listing that has 13 reviews and delete the other 2. Keeping the listing with 13 reviews means I will have to update the business name in Google my business because it was originally entered wrongly. Will the profile need to be verified again? Will my client be able to keep those reviews or will they be deleted? Thanks

Local Search for Home Businesses
I'm a home based business. I know Google has cracked down on PO boxes and UPS locations. What is one to do if they work from home but don't conduct business with clients from their home office? How can I get an address that's Google-approved?

Why does Google return 1 star reviews in local listings as the "most helpful"?
I have a client who has recently received two 1 star reviews on Google local (unhappy customer and unhappy customers boyfriend). This is affecting an otherwise flourishing business as these two 1 star reviews are displayed prominently when you search for the brand in Google. They have since received more positive reviews, however Google insists on displaying, what they term, the "most helpful" reviews first. Why are these 1 star reviews deemed "most helpful"? In all honesty, they aren't even really that helpful, with the latter verging on slanderous. We are in the process of reporting this one as it personally attacks a member of staff, however, whilst we tentatively wait weeks for a response, I wondered if anyone has any idea on how G decides which reviews are "most helpful"? When there is no option for other users to rate these reviews as helpful (such as on play store).

Reusing reviews from other sites for branded rich snippet taken from brands testimonial page
Hi my customer has had a new website built for their custom home building company which has a testimonials page http://www.precisionhomes.com.au/testimonials.html This testimonials page has duplicate review content taken from another dedicated review site http://www.productreview.com.au/p/precision-homes.html My question is this, if I add review microdata to http://www.precisionhomes.com.au/testimonials.html will google recognize this in Rich snippets and the Brands Knowledge Graph or will it just consider it duplicate content?

Accessing and Displaying Google Reviews (Url and Structured Data Markup)
Hi, I have a Google+ Page for my business that has 25 Google reviews written by customers, of which I am rather proud that it is an aggregate of 4.9 🙂 I would like to brag more about this on my website and also like it to show up as Structured Data in as many organic results as possible (it shows up on local searches, not a problem). However, I cannot find anything resembling a permanent link to the reviews (other than the about page) on Google... Any clues ? Also, I would like to start including the Google review stars within any other structured data markup that I add to the website (such as a BusinessEvent for example) - But the FAQ's on Google seem to imply that the reviews and aggregates must be on my website and nothing seems to say that I may use the Google reviews or aggregate in my markup. Can anyone point me in the right direction please ?

Duplicate Google Plus Business Listings
Hi everyone, We have a client with duplicate Google Plus pages for two of their locations. The ones that are showing in search results for the most part are the ones we control, but we'd still like to report or delete the duplicates (which we do not control from our existing accounts). I used to notice the option to report a page as duplicate but no longer see that...any advice? Thanks!
