Accessing and Displaying Google Reviews (Url and Structured Data Markup)
-
Hi,
I have a Google+ Page for my business that has 25 Google reviews written by customers, of which I am rather proud that it is an aggregate of 4.9
I would like to brag more about this on my website and also like it to show up as Structured Data in as many organic results as possible (it shows up on local searches, not a problem).
However, I cannot find anything resembling a permanent link to the reviews (other than the about page) on Google... Any clues ?
Also, I would like to start including the Google review stars within any other structured data markup that I add to the website (such as a BusinessEvent for example) - But the FAQ's on Google seem to imply that the reviews and aggregates must be on my website and nothing seems to say that I may use the Google reviews or aggregate in my markup. Can anyone point me in the right direction please ?

Hi Mark,
I don't know a ton about product reviews beyond the concept of them existing within Google Shopping. See: http://adwords.blogspot.com/2014/07/helping-shoppers-decide-with-product.html
This is completely different than local business reviews, which are loosely associated with G+ Local pages and appear in the Local packs of results.
If you wish to re-purpose local business reviews from various platforms (Google+ Local, TrueLocal, Linkedin, etc. as you mentioned) you will need to research their policies to discover whether they permit re-use of their content on your website. I've linked to a Mike Blumenthal post, above, that fully explains Google's policy, but you would need to research the policies of any other platforms to see if they permit re-publication on your website.
In addition to this, some other sources will also show in-SERPs review stars in Google's organic results. Facebook is an example of this: http://www.localvisibilitysystem.com/2015/06/29/facebook-reviews-now-get-you-rich-snippet-review-stars-in-the-local-search-results/
Hope this helps!

Hi Mark,
Local business review stars do show in the search engine results, either for branded search results or for local search results. Last time I looked into this, I believe the threshold was having earned 5 Google reviews for in-SERPs stars to typically appear in the results, but I also recall that there were some cases in which entities with less than that were getting stars. That might have had something to do with lost reviews. Google also sometimes shows in-SERPs stars for other platforms ... Facebook comes to mind.
In terms of bragging about reviews of your business, you just need to review each platform's policy regarding this. I'd linked to Mike Blumenthal's article regarding Google's policy regarding re-using your reviews on your website, but you'd want to do similar research for any other platform to be sure it's okay for you to re-publish reviews from their site onto yours.

See, I am confused by the difference between product reviews and a review of my business. I dont want to show product reviews at this stage (later down the track) .. I want to brag about the reviews of my business (Google+ page, TrueLocal, LinkedIn etc.) on my website and within content I may write. I would also like the aggregated review stars to show in the organic Google results like product reviews show their stars.

Hi Mark,
Congrats on the good reviews your client has earned. That's terrific! The only URL that I know of is the one you access via the reviews link in various places. This won't take you to an individual URL but will take you to the disembodied popup of Google reviews. Here's an example:
You'll notice that when you click on that, there is a brief delay, but then the popup of reviews should load.
Is this what you're asking about?
Regarding re-using Google reviews, I think this is the most recent post I've read on this:

Any experiences with Reviews.io?
Hello, We have used Trustpilot.com for a few years in the past. Service was reasonable and they did what they were supposed to do. However, due to their price and requirement for a full-year payment upfront we stopped using their review collection service. Is someone using Reviews.io? They are included in Google Review Partners, which seems to be very encouraging:

Any experiences you could share about Reviews.io will be appreciated. Luciano, The Translation Company Group0 -
What is the best online reputation management software for generating legitimate Google (and other online) reviews?
Hello! Does anyone have a good experience with using an online reputation management tool to help generate online reviews for a Google My Business listing, Facebook, etc? The reason I ask about a review software is because of my client's age demographic (50+), so we need to have an automated system to request reviews from their clients and to make it simple for them to leave reviews.

It's been over a year of going back and forth with Google My Business team
It's been over a year of going back and forth with Google My Business team regarding my GMB page. It was active for 2+ years prior with over 20+ reviews. I email GMB weekly to find out the status of the page and they keep saying it is a technical glitch and they are waiting for an update. Would love to get any advice on how to resolve my business page so it appears again on the Google maps or who I can contact to resolve this issue. This is our third time creating a new G+ business page https://plus.google.com/+LocalSEOSearchToronto

Different results & page layout in Google local for plurals?
I realize that the general results websites can rank differently for singular vs plural keywords, but today when checking local rankings for a client, I noticed that not only does the client rank differently for "church in San Diego" vs "churches in San Diego" but the layout and info of the local results pages are different. "Church in San Diego" (screenshot) shows the phone number and has links for Website and Directions "Churches in San Diego" (screenshot) doesn't show any of that instead has an image. If you click on the image, it brings up a card almost like a popup with info, reviews, and links for the organization. Anyone ever noticed that before? Anyone know why the difference? And if there are different optimization strategies?

Bing Local Lists Yelp Reviews From Another Business At Shared Address
Hi everyone, I am having a problem with Bing local listings and am hoping someone might be able to help me out. Basically I am working with a business that shares an address with another (separate legal entities, different owners, different phone, different domain). Both are bathroom remodelers, but one uses the space as a storefront/showroom, the other is strictly a service area business and uses the space for storage/office space (this is the one I am working with). I have claimed their listing on bing local and set it to hide the address. The problem I am having is that for whatever reason, Bing local is associating the yelp page of business 1 (showroom) with business 2 (business 2 is not currently on yelp). My question: what options do I have to remedy this? Is there a way to request a manual review of sorts to have this fixed? Would it be sufficient to create/verify a yelp page for business 2 and hope that Bing picks up on this?

Google Places
Hi Guys, Looking for some advice on improving the visibility of my Google Local Page for non-brand local keyword terms. I want my listing to rank for local keyword terms “sydney cars” “cars in sydney” and related terms. I know reviews play a key role and citations. We have created many citations in multiple different directories (yelp, truelocal, etc) but still have not yet seen much movement or results. In this case should I be building links to the actual website BMW Sydney with various/high diversified anchor text around “sydney cars” “cars in sydney” "luxury cars" and variations and continue building authority to this website. Image of the search results:

How to display reviews from review sites on your own website?
Is there a good way to display reviews that people have left on sites like Yelp, City Search, Google, etc on your own website without triggering duplicate content issues? It's hard to get reviews, so I'd like to make the most out of the ones that I get.
