Which "search volume" stats should I choose? Moz or Google Keyword Planner?
-
Hi there
Hoping someone can shed some light...
The same keywords give different Search Volume results in Moz and Google Keyword Planner. Why is this and which one should I "trust"/use?
Thank you!

That's because Moz taps into Bing for its keyword volume estimates and Google obviously is its own source.
As Andy points out, different tools are going to give you different estimates. None of them are particularly accurate - search volumes change all the time. By using more than one, you can at least get an idea as to the relative difference in search volumes between keyword candidates, and understand if you might be missing some opportunities.
Another good source of keyword ideas (and volume estimates) is Google search console but understand that it will only share a subset of the queries your content displayed in search results for. So it won't give you ideas for new content.
Google Adwords is probably your best bet for getting accurate estimates of search volume and also to gain a sense of how well different phrases convert.

Honestly, I wouldn't use just one because they are all going to give you slightly different information.
Use Moz, use Google and then try SEMrush, Ubersuggest, Keyword Tool.io and Wordstream.
The idea is to try and get as much information as you can, so use multiple sources for anything like this to increase your chances. Collate all of the data, remove duplicates and see what you have.

Snippet Tracking in MOZ
Where can I go in MOZ to view Google snippets that I am not currently tracking? I noticed a client is listed on a snippet but MOZ shows 0 snippets. I am also fairly confident given organic traffic data that this snippet has been listed for a while.

What travel keywords to choose? 'flight' or 'airplane ticket'?
I did some keyword research in order to do some onsite optimization on a travel industry-related website. I found 2 kinds of relevant keywords: 'flight'-related keywords (e.g.: flight chicago dallas) 'airplane ticket'-related keywords (e.g.: airplane ticket chicago dallas) Competition is the same on both but the first ones have more volume. So I'm really tempted to go with the 'flight'-related keywords. However the 'airplane ticket'-related keywords also have an interested volume so how should I do my onsite optimization. So each one of this solution do you think is the best: creating one page targeting the 'flight' and 'airplane tickets'-related keywords knowing isn't a good practice targeting two different keywords ? creating two different pages (one targeting 'flight' and the other one targeting 'airplane tickets') but it isn't very relevant for visitors since both pages are proposing the same offer? also it might have some duplicate content issue. creating one page targeting 'flight' and forget about 'airplane tickets' and missing some opportunities ? creating one page targeting 'flight' and adding some 'airplane tickets' keywords in content and hoping to get some 'airplane tickets' keywords traffic ? Thank you in advance for your feedback and sharing your experience in the same kind of issue.

How do search engines treat keywords with "and"?
For example, I would like to optimize a title tag with two keyword phrases: industrial supply and electrical supply. Instead of creating the title tag Industrial Supply and Electrical Supply, which sounds unnatural, would I get the same SEO benefit using Industrial and Electrical Supply?

Suggestions for RU Keyword Research
Does anyone have suggestions for a better RU keyword tool than Yandex and/or is there a way to see exact searches in Yandex's keyword tool? It seems like the data is not at all accurate. For example - we are ranked #2 for a keyword which has over 40,000 monthly searches (searches according to Yandex keyword tool and position confirmed with someone doing a manual search in Russia). However, we are not getting any traffic for this keyword and according to Yandex webmaster tools the keyword only got 10 impressions this past month. Any ideas for me... or would using Google be preferable eventhough people in Russia don't really use Google?
