Which blog is best
-
We use Bigcommerce, at the moment we use wordpress for our blogs, bigcommerce has its own blog.
Is it better to use the Bigcommerce blog or Wordpress.
-
I think you can try with Tumblr or Weebly. I used two types. It is quite easy and beautiful.
In case, you want to use WordPress, I suggest you to migrate from BigCommerce to WooCommerce. It is a WordPress's plugin. Experts say that WooCommerce is simple, easy to control but beautiful. It is suitable for small and medium business with low budget and less technical knowledge. I can't honestly speak for Bigcommerce as it is a platform that I have never used, however we do use Wordpress and recommend it all the time to may of our clients.
This isn't really your issue though as to get the best of using Wordpress and its full functionality and access to its many apps etc and to be of benefit to your store on an SEO level it would need to be on the same domain as the Bigcommerce site which I understand can't be done directly on their servers as is the case with many hosted stores.
In this instance you would have to put the Wordpress blog on a sub-domain and there is a good article about how this can be achieved here http://inkblotdigital.com/2014/wordpress-blog-bigcommerce-store/
Whichever solution you choose I wish you well with your endeavours.

Blog.website.com or website.com/blog
Hello, I have a question, in some moz guidelines you can read website.com/blog is better/more recommended than blog.website.com. But when you look at the domain authority you see no difference. blog.website.com gets exact the same domain authority as website.com. So can somebody explain why website.com/blog is really better than blog.website.com? Or is there no difference? Thank you verry much

Best Websites to help discover Topics
Hi I know I can use Twitter and latest posts on Google & Blogs, but I was wondering what are the best tools at the moment to use if you are looking to write about up to the minute information about a certain topic. Say the topic is London, is there a website or tag cloud to understand what people are saying about London right now? Anything better than Social Mention?

Company Blog Killing our Rankings?
Our product is organic, eco, natural etc. Our blog covers organic, eco, natural culture. Sounds like a winner right? But what if we sold jars and our blog rarely talked about jars because jars are Boring? In webmaster tools, our keyword significance for the word organic is ranked 1st but for the word jars we're ranked 41st . Should i be placing our blog on a subdomain to make sure Google starts placing more emphasis on our jars? ie content on our site rather than content on our blog?
