How to transfer PA
-
Hello
I'm cleaning my old posts from my website and I found that lots of posts that I have to delete have a good PA
I want to know how to transfer the PA of an old post to a new one. Is it possible to do it with 301 redirect?
Is there any way to 100% transfer of link juice?
Thank you

Most likely after next Mozscape Index. If the 301 is done correctly and PA is not reflected in the short term, I wouldn't worry that much. Make sure to monitor organic positions and traffic to those landing pages for any fluctuations.

Thanks for your quick response, Donald
I'm going to use a 301 redirect, how long does it take for the new page to get the PA from the old page?

Hi Shadowava,
You will not be able to transfer 100% of link juice.
Instead of deleting pages however, you should use a 301 redirect. The page you redirect the link to should provide similar content as the original page.

Should I keep, or disavow PA 1 DA 0 backlink?
Hi, I am doing link cleaning, and still a bit new to this, and would appreciate the community's help 🙂 So, I have a site which has quite a lot of low DA (or no DA) follow backlinks. BUT, the links are from my niche the sites are not spammy the anchors are okay and they are from good Geo location for me The only negative thing is that these sites are a bit "dead" meaning that there is no new content, and thus there is no traffic or clicks coming from them. Should I keep those links or disavow them? To me these links are natural, but do they help me at all.... FYI I have plenty of good DA links. But what do you guys think, if I disavow all these low DA backlinks, does Google think that I am trying to manipulate my backlink structure to look better than it naturally is? Cheers guys and girls! 🙂

Domain transfer
Hi Everyone! I work for a company that had a new website built through a digital agency and that website went live 2 months ago. I have only been with the company for 2 months and find myself under the gun, because they are not coming up in organic search results that they used to. The old domain was 301'ed to point to the new domain. There were also 1 to 1 redirects set up to transfer the old page authority to the new, equivalent pages. In everyone's experience, how long does it take for a domain to start populating for search terms that it used to? I know there are mixed reviews on 301 transfers and how much of the old domain authority is preserved when you take this route. What is your experience? Just looking for some answers. Thanks in advance! John

Does adding more outgoing links on a high PA page decrease the juice passed to previous links?
Hi, I'm not sure how PA DA exactly works when the goal is to create backlinks to your site in order to have the most impact on passing PA DA juice (if there is such a thing) to ones money site. For example let's say you have a blog and the PA is 40 DA is 30. Let's say I create a backlink pointing to my site on the homepage of this blog, in which I desire better rankings for, and the links I created are only 1-3 outgoing links on this post which is again on the homepage. Then say in a months time, I want to add another post on the homepage (so the 40 PA and 30 DA stays the same) creating a backlink to one of my other money sites. Does adding this second round of backlinks result in sending less juice to the first? This is what I want to know. Thank you!

Ideas to increase PA
I need to increase the page authority of a specific page, it is a fairly bog standard product with very little scope if any for content generation. It is indexed and ranking at position 20 or 30. Any ideas on how to increase the page authority would be very much appreciated.
