I have managed to land a few expert pieces on external sites for my company and would like to document that on our blog in the form of mini-blurbs which lead through to the article... but if I link back to it, is that bad practice?
Of course link sharing can be punishable if it is done to share juice, and I understand that on the surface it could look like link sharing, but in reality it would just be nice to document the different successes we've had. Thoughts?

Local Personal training studio needs SEO advice. Is directory submission they way forwards?
I have a local personal training business and am struggling to push our website to the top of local personal training searches despite already having a better domain and trust score than almost all of the higher ranked competitors. The website has only been live around 4 months but I was wondering if submitting to paid directories would help me to rank on page one? our website is www.danielalexandra.com

Before submitting to a directory, what do you look for?
I'm going through one of my competitors links and of course I'm coming across some directories. Just wondering what you might look for in a quality directory. I'm looking at one right now called SoMuch.com and it appears to be a quality directory but then I look down at the footer and I see "Search Engine Friendly Free Link Directory". The domain authority is 80. Thanks

Ever Get disillusioned with SEO
Many times now we have pushed certain keywords for homepage listings but we have found the traffic levels to be very poor and many cases first page listings turn out to be vanity. The frustrating thing is that sometimes we have to tell some of our SEO customers that in order to get a good market share for there industry they will always have to do google adwords. What are your thoughts on this . Thanks
