x-default hreflang attribute value

Hi
When is it best to use the x-default hreflang attribute value tags?
Screaming frog is flagging lots as missing, but is it necessary?
Thanks

Hey Becky–here's a primer on the hreflang tag that I recommend reading: https://moz.com/learn/seo/hreflang-tag
Essentially, if you have an international website with localized or translated versions (mexico.website.com, or website.com.mx, or website.com/mexico), you need to use rel="alternate" hreflang="es-mx" (using my Mexico example above) in the head tags of your site's pages.

Backlink "class=X-hidden-focus"
Is anyone familiar with class=X-hidden-focus? Do these links still contain link juice or are they similar to no follow?

Facet Values as Anchor text
Hi I've reviewing our internal linking structure & have found that the facets/filter buttons on a category, are crawled and have anchor text to each link, for example: The anchor text to filter the product listing results by those under £50 would be: | Facet Value Less than £50.00 (15) Less than £50.00 (15) | This also has the source URL & destination URL of http://www.key.co.uk/en/key/lockers I haven't come across this before - is this an issue?

Hreflang or not, or something else?
I'm working on a site that has 10 languages served from centrally located core files in Magento. So each language has its own TLD with localised content served from SQL. GWT has also had the preferred country set for each domain. The problem is that each and every domain is indexed in each of the local Google indexes. In DE Google the FR homepage is ranking higher for the brand keyword. I kind of think I am wasting my time with hreflang but would like some advice whether this is an option or clues how I can handle this situation best.

I have a question regarding parking good value domain.
I have a question regarding parking good value domain. A client has a great website 'A' with page rank of 5 and a lot of traffic. They want to change the URL and redesign the site. So they have parked the domain 'A' and will later redirect it to the new domain, this will be in a month time. My questions is, by parking the old domain 'A' would they have lost its SEO value or will it be given to the new URL once they place a 301 redirect on it. Also, would it not have been better not to park domain 'A', keep it live and just redirect it once new domain goes live, notifying Google in Webmaster tools?

Will changing my wordpress permalinks add SEO value?
I'm considering changing my permalinks from: http://www.musicliveuk.com/corporate-entertainment-1 http://www.musicliveuk.com/corporate-entertainment-2 to: http://www.musicliveuk.com/corporate-entertainment-london etc... (these are example pages and don't actually exist) as I want to optimise pages for specific cities. This will create a load of 404 errors which I will have to 301 redirect (I presume that's the best way of doing it?). Does having the keyword in the url help and is the added SEO value (if their is any) worth it?

Value in purchasing domain name for targeted search term?
Is there any value in purchasing a domain name for a search term we want to target? If there is, would it be better to have it forward directly to our site, or create a landing page that would then link to our site and our products?

Value of Newspaper Comment Links
Although most newspaper comment sections are a no-follow zone, I have noticed that some comments I have posted with links end up being followed. The comments are participatory and the links relevant and even add to the conversation. My theory is that some comments are monitored and if the editors are looking to encourage discussion and don't feel like your spamming, why not take the no follow off. I do plan on doing some testing with poor, spammy comments on the same papers but am encouraged and would like to know what other people have found.
