Why My Website DA and Rankings are not improving
-
It's been about 3 months my Website DA and Ranking are constant. What should i do about it?
I am generating good quality links and syndicating Content in different website but no Help.

@rashmibhardwaj86 If your website's Domain Authority (DA) and ranking have plateaued despite your efforts in generating quality links and syndicating content, it might be time to reassess your strategy. Consider diversifying your content types or exploring new platforms for syndication. Additionally, focus on optimizing on-page elements like meta tags and content relevance. Engaging with your audience through social media and fostering relationships with influencers can also help boost visibility. Regularly monitoring analytics and adjusting tactics accordingly is key to staying competitive in the ever-evolving digital landscape.

It can take a long time for a businesses rankings to improve, so a common mistake businesses make is thinking they can adjust the on page SEO on say the homepage and an overnight instantly the seo will improve, however it doesnt work like this
For example, it took us many years to get a company that offers garden offices onto the first page in Bristol and Bath because it's so highly competitive.
Therefore, you have to put in a lot of work to improve the seo. This often means a lot of work over a sustained period.

When you syndicate content, you give one of your articles to another website. They publish it on a page and their page begins to rank in the SERPs for the keywords of the article. If their website is more powerful than your website they are most likely going to rank above you in the SERPs for the root, short tail and long tail keywords. Even if they give you a link in the article, their page is going to rank above your page in the SERPs.
If you give one of your articles to several other websites and they publish it, the result will be several pages in the SERPs with your article. What happens then, is Google sees all of these identical articles. They don't like that and they will filter most of those articles and send them to the supplemental index - where they will get almost no traffic.
Some people will argure.... "I published my copy of the article first and Google will rank me better or they will not filter my page." From my experience, those people are wrong much of the time at best and most of the time at worst. I know this for a fact because I have published articles given to me by other people and my site almost always outranks their site in the SERPs after I publish. I warn them that this will happen, and let them know if I publish their article I will not remove it. After that, they don't offer me any more articles.
Syndication should be done for one reason. You have a message and you want to get it out everywhere. For that purpose you can give your article to a lot of other websites and they will display it to their audience.
However, if you are trying to monetize a website, syndicating articles will most likely be damaging to your rankings for these reasons. 1) your articles on other websites will outrank you, 2) sometimes your article on your website will be filtered, 3) if Google sees that you are trying to build links from article syndication they might turn off the value of those links or even use them as part of a penalty, and 4) if you give lots of the articles on your website to other websites Google might see your site as "having nothing unique" and demote your entire site in the rankings.

Can you please explain this a little further ?

Hi Rashmi,
On the one hand, you should not set DA as a KPI. Improving you DA won't assure you better rankings nor more impressions.
On the other hand, links are on one part of an SEO strategy. I'd suggest you to start taking a deep read to some of the best tutorials out there. Here im listing some of them:

New Website & DA Score
We are preparing to build a new website for a branch of our company. According to Neil Patel (whom I highly respect) our DA should come in around 30 (categorizing us as a startup, see chart below). So I ask: Why do our current sites DA Score below 30? (20 & 29 respectively) Our sites were redesigned in 2013 and are responsive, pass the Google Mobile Friendly test and I've improved load speed by over 25% by compressing images. I have used Moz as guidance for 10 months on both 7 + yo sites, HP.com is 14 yo, our pages score in the high 90's and I have disavowed bad backlinks for 6 months (now only every other month). I thought we would be in or close to the 50 range by 2017 after a solid year of improvements, but I don't see that happening. Our scores go up a point or two, then back down, we have floundered 2 points either way for 10 months. Most important question: What do I do now to raise our DA? Lastly, my plan is to take all the lessons learned from the past years and apply it to the new site, measure the success and then redesign the other two sites in accordance to the new model. But that may be a year away. KJr www.heritageprinting.com www.heritageprintingcharlotte.com | DA | Rating |

| 1-10 | Poor – Your site is young and weak. You have a lot of growing to do. |
| 11-20 | Decent. Your site isn’t stellar, but you’re doing better. It would be good to grow. |
| 21-30 | Fair. Your site shows signs of SEO, but there are many things you can and should do to improve. |
| 31-40 | Competitive. A lot of startups find themselves in this DA range. It’s not bad, and you’re beginning to get close to the sweet spot. |
| 41-50 | Good. Now, you’re getting somewhere. This is a nice place to be, and many good e-commerce sites find themselves squarely in this category. |
| 51-60 | Strong. As you swing out of the lower half of the scale, you’re beginning to get much healthier. This is a good place to be. |
| 61-70 | Excellent. A DA at this level represents a great site with a lot of recognition, a lot of link backs, and a considerable authority in its niche. Many .edus are in this space. |
| 71-80 | Outstanding. You’re dominating in the SERPs and owning your niche. Quick Sprout is a 73. |
| 81-90 | Very outstanding. You’re in the upper echelons of authority. You can consider yourself to have arrived. |
| 91-100 | Rare. These sites are household names — Wikipedia, Facebook, New York Times, etc. Your site will probably never attain this level. Only a miniscule fraction of a percentage of sites on the Internet ever get this high. | https://www.quicksprout.com/2014/04/09/how-to-score-your-websites-seo-in-10-minutes-or-less/0 -
A keyword my site ranks on has recently dropped from no 2 to 51+ after weeks ranking high.
Any ideas? The full SERP analysis still puts it at no 2 so I'm quite confused

Why has my MozTrust & DA dropped
Hi The company i work for are in the middle of relaunching our product, so during this time we have not been generating much traffic to the site. We are still getting about 800 SEO visits a month, however, as we aren't doing email marketing our site traffic overall has dropped. I have noticed that since October or MozTrust and Domain Authority seems to be dropping. Our DA was at 18 then in the space of a few weeks has dropped to 10. Our Moztrust was at about 3 and now is at 0. Our links to the site seems to be disappearing to according to Moz, however other back linking website are saying they are still there. Could someone maybe shed some light on what i may have done wrong to lose these two things and so quickly. This all happened mid to late October. During the Hummingbird release we were fine! We have also just updated out website with lots of new content. In fact increased it 4x. There are great internal links throughout the site. Thank you

SEOmoz Rank tracking
I think this tool is a bit off : ) This morning I checked my ranking for a keyword and every time I recheck it I see my results in a different place. I checked on word 5 times and got three different results. Is Google brocken or is the tracker doing its own thing? This is not the first time I am seeing this issue only today its really acting up. IMHO I think it would be best if the tool just says out of order 🙂 rather than 3, 10, 6 for one keyword phrase within ten minutes...

Rankings Feature Changes
Hi guys, Is there a way that the Rankings tool within the campaigns could show a monthly comparison rather than weekly? Possibly a drop down just to choose weekly or monthly. At the moment, when someone outside of the team involved looks at the results, it looks as though the website is in a downward sprial, where as we could be lower than ever, just with one bad week. Thanks for your help! 🙂

SEOMOZ stopped counting local results as a rank?
I had a terrifying experience today upon receiving my weekly rankings report that stated I had dropped out of google for the majority of my keywords! However upon further inspection it would appear the report is not including local results in the ranking (my page shows up #1 but is a local result). This didn't happen before, did something change that I didn't know about?
