What is the meaning of "--" spam score?
-
The "--" spam score indicates that Moz's system couldn't determine the spam score for the specific site. This could happen due to insufficient data or other technical issues.
To check the spam score, you can visit Moz.com and use their tools to get a detailed analysis of your website’s spam score. This score helps identify potentially harmful links and practices that might affect your site's SEO performance.
-
The "--" spam score typically means that a specific score for spam detection has not been assigned or calculated. It is often used as a placeholder or indicator that data is missing or unavailable. In the context of spam detection, a score of "--" may indicate that the system was unable to determine the likelihood of a message being spam due to various reasons such as incomplete information or technical issues.

A spam score of "--" typically indicates that there is insufficient data or the scoring system is unable to generate a specific score based on the available information. It might suggest that the content hasn't been evaluated or doesn't meet the criteria for a conventional spam score rating. If you're looking to improve ranking on Amazon for SwiftStart Agency, focusing on content quality, relevance, and adhering to Amazon's guidelines will be crucial regardless of any spam score indicators.

What you don't want is spam and low quality links as these can massively damage your businesses seo,
-
Very simple: It's just not available for that site. It basically means that the site is not in the index from Moz.

How to compare Spam scores quarter to quarter
I would like to see how the SEO amends that I have been making have reduced my Spam score in Moz Pro. Can you let me know if this is possible and, if so, where I would go get this?

I see some links on Youtube.com that look like they are "Do-follow" links am I wrong?
Hi, I have some videos on YouTube.com and I notice many of the links show as "Do-Follow" per the Moz Bar. I have a feeling they are not actually "Dofollow" links because they never show up in Moz Pro, SemRush or any of my other tools. Can some of you people with greater knowledge of YouTube please clarify why the links look like "Do Follow". I am specifically thinking of my own backlinks on the videos and also the links in the "Comments". Best Regards, Bill Dalessi

My home page has an "A" rank in Moz and not ranking in Google.
My home page recently dropped from page one in Google to not being ranked for my top keyword. The page has an "A" ranking in MOZ for the keyword. Is there a way to find out the cause. I did have what looked like a duplicate page for a while 3 months ago when a domain was forwarding to my home page incorrectly. Appeared with second domain name instead of primary. Our business has been 95% through internet leads so quite an issue. Is there anyway to find out what is going on.

Did anyone else see "Rel Canonical" drop to zero after their latest SEOmoz crawl?
In the Crawl Diagnostics section of the SEOmoz reports, we get errors in red, warnings in yellow, and notices in blue. After my latest crawl, I saw the "Rel Canonical" part go from about 300 down to 0. Obviously, this isn't right, so I'm wondering if this is a bug that everyone is experiencing. U9W5I

Anyway to Verify MozRank & MozTrust Scores w/alternate method?
Hey everyone, I am wondering if there is a way to confirm or reinforce what am i seeing on a webpage using the Moz Toolbar? When I go to this website here: abilogic.com they have a high page/domain trust rank. However, when I filter down to the niche category I would be interested in submitting too abilogic.com/dir/Home/Gardens/ - Then everything, including PageRank, drops to zero. The question I have, is I am not sure if this is really just a poorly constructed and untrustworthy page as identified in the Moz Toolbar. Or is it possible that these page categories have recently been redeveloped or something like that, and that's why the deeper pages are not showing any benefits? Thanks for any help or tips!

"Opt Out" of free month through MozPoints
This is probably going to sound a bit strange but I'd like it if I could "opt out" of the 200 MozPoints in a month giving a free months worth of membership. The reason being that I am enjoying using the forum but feel like every time I click on a thumbs up for my stuff to get MozPoints, it's like I'm trying to take advantage of the offer... when in actual fact I have no interest in that. Don't get me wrong, I want MozPoints because I want an SEOmoz t-shirt lol, and maybe one day I'll get to find out what the "something really special" is (I don't want to have one of whatever it is, I just want to know what it is.... the curiosity is killing me!) Anyway, what I'm saying is that I would feel more free to use the forums without having this kind of uncomfortable feeling that it may look like I'm just in it for the points to skimp on cash lol. I use the service, I love the service, and so I am happy to pay for the service... not only that but the forums are part of the benefit of the service, so I'd rather not worry that every comment I make may look like I'm doing it for reasons of greed, rather than reasons of interest. So, can we have a thing where we opt out?
