#update or delete? -
I faced the same issues with my website, and my local business of bathroom remodeling in forth worth was suffering. However, after implementing these strategies , my website started performing well again and continues to do so to this day. You can also follow these steps.
Old Articles:Delete vs. Update: You don't necessarily need to delete all outdated articles. Here's a tiered approach:
Highly Outdated: If the information is demonstrably wrong or irrelevant, deletion is best.
Update Potential: If the core concept is still valid but needs refreshing, consider a significant update with current information, examples, and SEO optimization.
Short & Low Traffic: If the article is brief and doesn't generate traffic, consider merging it with a similar, more comprehensive article.
Focus on Value: Regardless of the approach, prioritize creating high-quality, informative content that solves user problems.Visitor Drop:
Analyze Updates: It's possible the updates themselves might be causing issues. Did they change the content structure significantly?
Content Audit: Conduct a content audit to identify gaps and areas for improvement. Tools like Google Search Console can help identify low-performing content.
Fresh Content: Regularly publish new, relevant articles to keep users engaged and demonstrate your website's authority.

How do I properly sitemap a site with static pages + Wordpress in it's own directory?
I apologize for the awkward wording in the headline. No to the issue, I have a site with static pages that are created as follows: url.com, url.com/page1, url.com/page2, etc. I then have WordPress install at url.com/blog. What is the proper method for creating a comprehensive sitemap for my entire domain. I like the sitemap feature provided by Yoast SEO plugin but I assume it will only index the wordpress directory (url.com/blog). Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Network of small sites or one large site
Hi there, I am taking a group of mums through how to set up a blog and how to build up traffic to that blog. Should I suggest that we all blog on the same domain so www.dsdsds.com/myblogname or get them to set up their own domains. My aim is for everyone to support each other, share and link content so would it be more powerful if they were all on different domains or on the same one? Would love some insight as it is something I just can not get my head around this part. Thank you so very very much 🙂

Site with mostly images
I am working on a site which will be a portfolio of many photographers - hence there will be a lot of images - each image will have an external link to the photographers site, there will be a very small description and a lot of tags (for the site indexing to work) Bearing in mind that the site will consist of 90% images, 9% tags and 1% text is there a chance the site will rank well for my keywords (which will be the tags)? There will also be social comments e.g. facebook or discus but I want to keep the amount of text to a minimum.

Is the Page Authority/Rank of my corporate site affected by my blog's PA/PR and vice versa?
If I host my blog on my corporate site (it is a wordpress blog) will the page authority and page rank of my site translate to the blog? And does this also go the other way around? My gut says this would make sense, and I think I have seen it in action with other corporate sites that host their wordpress blogs, but I want to be completely sure. Even better, if someone can explain to me how this works, that would be super helpful!

Fresh content ideas for a static site?
I have an ecommerce site. My home page is set-up just as I want it. I'm not looking to redo it or change my site to a blog. Just looking for some new, different, SEO friendly ideas or concepts to keep it "fresh".

Dashes / Slashes / Full Spots in Meta Tile.
Hello, I have a question how about how google sees dashes, slashes, full stops etc. I am new to SEO so this might be dumb. I sell refurbished printer parts. The majority of people search for the part number in google. A typical part number might be "04.F5/S3A YA50" . A customer might search for "04F5S3A YA50" or "04.F5/S3AYA50" or "04.F5/S3A YA50" or "04.F5/S3A-YA50". They aren't radically different but seem to effect the rankings. At the moment I use the following stucture for the meta tiles, descriptions etc 04.T5/S3A YA50 (04T5S3AYA50) by OEM | mysite Buy refurbished OEM 04.T5/S3A YA50 (04T5S3AYA50). Free next day delivery. 12 month warrnanty on all parts. www.mysite/4F5S3AYA50 Part number (Part number no spaces) by OEM | Mysite Generic text Part number (Part number no spaces) text www.mysite/(Part number no spaces My questions, should I try to include all the different ways a customer might search for a part number in my meta title, description, url etc. Or should I try to include within the content of the page. Many thanks
