My Organic traffic always going down on Thursday and Friday
-
I am the Webmaster of this site
Do not tell me some key files blocked by robots. It happened yesterday and applied the fix.
My traffic always goes down on Thursday/Friday but it starts getting better from Saturday. Is it some EMD update or what the hell is it coming back and hitting me every week on these two days.
Impressions with clicks also goes down.

What is this conspiracy theory EGOL?

I think conspiracy theory is hitting you.
-
Yeps, that's exactly what we saw in our graphs too. I found a screenshot of this within one of my old documents which show exactly this. Take a look at this screenshot.
-
Martin and Itrogers I totally agree with your point but my question is why the Impressions and clicks got down on that very day.Do you want to say that on the whole people relating to my industry do not Google that much on these two days?
-
This happend to one of the sites I worked on before, we saw a decline in visits through out the week which was a pretty normal phenomenon. It was just the weekly routine for people looking for our products back then. At the end of the week they wouldn't search for any product related information and starting on Sunday evening throughout Tuesday they started searching for these products.
Based on the explanation you gave me I wouldn't say this is related to something like a weekly EMD update or any other update.
-
This can be the case but why the Impressions get down also with clicks. It only happened almost like every week for sure on Friday.
-
I am familiar with your industry but is there some connection between what people you market toward actually do on Thursday and Friday? I notice that my weekend traffic is the worst on Sat and Sunday, because my target market is enjoying their weekend and not working, surfing the web. Since it is consistent I am thinking that it is something related to your market.

GA traffic locations must be wrong? Most hits from a state we don't do business in!
I launched a website earlier this year. Very limited traffic, 200-300 a month. It is an info site for a specialized business. However, when I review my GA traffic reports, 20% of our traffic comes from one city in Virginia. (although the company does business in many states, it does not in Virginia) or anything close. The bounce rate is 97%! Could it be a web scraper or some kind of redirect?

International Traffic on Analytics - Is this normal?
Hi All, One of our clients has asked why they are getting so much traffic from international countries when they solely operate in the UK. See attached image for % of customers who are visiting our site from different countries. Is this a normal ratio of traffic when we are only targeting UK customers? Thanks o6j2PEc

HUGE spike in Google Analytics Traffic
Hi there, I am witnessing a giant spike in my Google Analytics data (website: www.exchangecapital.com ) and I am completely stumped. My website usually gains roughly 15-20 visitors a day at most--and as of 11:10 am today my sessions for the day are up to 150. The traffic spike started on Friday at 132 sessions, Saturday at 261, Sunday at 247, etc. It's common that our sessions don't even hit the double digits over the weekends, so you can imagine my confusion. After trying to pin down some irregularities in geography, browser, and behavior, I'm still at a loss. I'm seeing a big spike in organic traffic (all not provided), as well as direct page visits, and I'm gaining traffic from US, Brazil, United Kingdom, Mexico, Spain, Malaysia, etc. etc--so not just one specific area. Is anyone else witnessing this in their data? Does anyone have any insight or ideas as to how I can look further into this? I am at a loss and any information would be appreciated. Thanks in advance! Higher rankings, low traffic
Hello There, My question is the following: How come my rankings are much higher than when I started with the optimization process (1 year ago) but my organic traffic is lower compared to the previous year (it didn't increase at all)? NB - I haven’t received any penalization and the keywords I am targeting are definitively searched and are the most important for my company. Thanks a lot 🙂

Strange traffic.
We are a norwegian bakeshop (sykkelkompaniet.no) and we have started getting a lot of direct traffic from Miami and Chico. Wondering why, and suspect that someone is trying to hack our system. Any suggestions? We have never been in Chico or in Miami... and we don't spend anything on marketing so far, furthermore we don't ship to the US. The traffic is about 800 unique hits a day.

My website is www.canadafloraldelivery.com. I just can't seem to get my webpage ranked well for the keyword " Flowers Edmonton " . Also I can't seem to get my Google local listing on the map for many keywords. Is there something obvious that I am missing? Any help would be very appreciated.
