Any Reports on Conversion Rate Drops in 2014?

I'm looking for some reports about conversion rate changes over the past year as well as any trends you may have noticed about ecommerce conversion rates because we are seeing something quite odd.
We are seeing a large drop in overall conversion rates on some sites I manage this year despite seeing significant revenue growth. When I looked through the stats I found something interesting. Our conversion rates have actually increased on each of the three device types (desktop, tablet and mobile) but because there is a huge surge in visits from mobile devices (the device with the lowest conversion rates) and a large decline in vistis from our top convertor (desktop) our overall conversion rates are down.
This is especially troubling to me because my bonus was based on increasing conversion rates and I could use some help from you to see if others in the industry are facing this issue or not.

I haven't been seeing a large fluctuation in ecommerce conversion rates for us this year compared to previous years. As you know, it's always about conversion optimization. Improving UX (as Max was stating) is a LARGE part of increasing your conversion rate. So test/measure/implement on a regular basis (part of a continual improvement process). Are you sure the UX for mobile visitors is good? I am not asking if it works from mobile or if you can successfully navigate, I am wondering if the UX is good or annoying.

How to find average organic traffic growth rate for ecommerce startup?
Happy Friday Everyone, I have a quick question: I am in the process of crunching some numbers to try and figure out an organic traffic forecast for a client. One of the crucial metrics I can't seem to figure out is traffic rate of growth over the next year or so. The reason this is complicated for me is that I have only ever done this sort of thing for an established business before, and had plenty of past organic traffic data to work with. What I am looking for is a source that could give me a reasonable idea of what kind of growth rates I might expect for a startup with practically no data; I would be perfectly happy with a national average for online retail startups. What is the best solution to track conversions on local plumbing site (non-mobile)?
What is the best solution to track conversions on our local plumbing site? 95% of leads coming from phone calls, the rest – from the contact form we have on every page. Is there a reliable solutions to track conversion rate for non-mobile local site? As a side note, we have 6 different phone numbers on our site that users can call in order to reach us.

How Do you Reduce Bounce Rates?
I'm doing work for a website right now that sells musical instruments. They have great content on their site but we're helping them to create even better content. We've been working with them for 2 weeks now and they average about 180 site views a day according to Google analytics. Their pages also have very high bounce rates (70-98%) What are your best ways to reduce bounce rates?

Conversion Rate - site feedback
Hi We gave a website a bit of a facelift last nov with the aim of increasing its position within Search Engines and getting it to begin making sales. The site: www.funkyfootstools.com is now moving in the right direction for its keyphrases, footstools and ottomans although it still needs some work. The issue I have is that from the visitors that come to the site, the stats prove they have a look around, they are just not purchasing - I am not sure if this is because of the layout, ie. usability or if there is something else. Good content but high bounce rate
Hi all, We run a website offering specialist turkey tours and gulet cruises. Our website holds a few information and recipes pages which are doing well in the engines and bring in alot of traffic. However these pages are crippling our bounce rate with bounces of about 80-90%. The time on site for these pages are above the websites average, but it seems that once the reader has finished with the information/ recipe, they bounce back to the Search engines. An example of one of our recipe pages can be found here: http://www.petersommer.com/turkey/turkish-food/pilav-rice/ We have thought about moving and redirecting these pages from our main site to a new website, but we are worried that it may effect our position in the SERP's.
