Hi there

How do you submit your linkbait pieces to social medias (Digg, ...)? Do you hire people with highly connected profiles and high success rate so probability for viral spread is bigger?

If you've never done it before then it's probably a good idea to get the word out.

Although if you're going to be doing a lot of this in the future then you might want to start building up your own social media accounts.

Implementing Pinterest On Site and Social Snippets

Hi can someone confirm, does Pinterest use Open Graph Protocol? If you use the Pinterest Widget builder - http://business.pinterest.com/widget-builder/#do_pin_it_button Will the image you place in the widget replace the image Pinterest selects if it does use the Open Graph Protocol? The site already uses Open Graph Protocol for Facebook and Google+. It also uses Twitter cards for twitter. It would be good if we don't need to add more html (such as from the Pinterest widget builder) for Pinterest. -- Matt

Does social media work with boring clients?

OK, I'm not being rude, but I have a few clients who work in areas that really don't stimulate people - they are just needed. Examples are: Accountants
Chartered Surveyors
Forklift truck suppliers Not the most inspiring list... So my question is whether to pursue the whole social media side of SEO with them. I mean, who wants to "like" their chartered surveyor? Do they have anything interesting to "tweet" about? If anyone has experience of this type of field, then any suggestions would be greatly appreciated,

Incentivisation Strategies for Social Sharing of Product Pages

Hey, What are some great tips for gaining social shares on ecommerce product or category pages? I understand great images and video will go along way, but it's difficult on a large scale ecommerce store. Receiving an offer for sharing something is great - I honestly cant think of a way to track this strategy in a large scale manner. I can send an email after a purchase making an offer to go back to the page to share, but how would I track this? Thanks.
