301 redirect lost page authority & total links how ensure it passes on.

hello,
I recently changed from www to non www. I have redirected my whole website so if I type www. it goes to the non-www page.
doing a open site explorer I noticed my www. still has the page authority 14/100 with 6 links. where as the non-www page has 1/100 page authority and no links.
how do I get the www. to mirror the non-www links?
eg if you goto http://www.finnmoto.com.au/mens-motorcycle-kevlar-hoodie/ it will goto the non-www version automatically, so why does the non-www replicate the page authority / total linksattached picture for reference.
Google webmaster has been selected for non-www, its been about 2 weeks.
my domain authority i think about about 21 or more now its 19 aswell.I have a feeling:
nofollow or rel=canonical has something to do with it but Ill need read into what that does and how to apply.any ideas?

its now 5th of december. the open site explorer reads updated october 30, 2014
the new pages without the www. is still showing 1/100 page authority, no total links etc.. the facebook likes/shares match up

PAGE AUTHORITY 14 /100 ESTABLISHED LINKS 1 Root Domains 6 Total Link FACEBOOK 235 Shares 29 LikesI lost some domain authority aswell when i made the switch. any idea when the new specs will be updated.

My understanding is OSE relay on a db which is updated on a monthly basis. Last update was October 29, if you moved after October 29 I guess you will have to wait till November 25 to see any change in OSE.

I have a question about an SEO tactic. There is this site that has purchased three domain names, and has redirected them to their main site. The three domains are: Spokaneduilawyer org, Spokaneduilaw com, and Spokaneduilawfirm com and the website has all three domains redirecting to their main site. What is the SEO value with this? I looked at those three domains on Majestic and they have no backlinks that I could find, and when I looked on archive.org I didn't see any history of those domains being actual sites that might bring traffic. Link Building for Landing Page
Hey Guys, I have a client that is launching a website in about 2-3 months time. They have had a flash site for the last 4 years and have had no SEO/Link Building to the site and are now going to undertake my services for Content Strategy, Social Strategy and Link Building. In the interim (from now till the next 3 months) they will be launching a "coming soon" landing page. What I want to know is when doing their initial link building do I just concentrate on brand related links through local directories with the aim of getting a few local keyterms? Or should we be deploying a longer term strategy of going after the competitive keyterms now? Thanks,

I have a corporate client which has multiple franchises, therefore microsites (www.example.com/cityname) within their corporate website(www.example.com). I am trying to build some links for these microsites that are lot weaker than the corporate web page in terms of PA. We worked hard putting most of these locations into local directories such as Google places and yahoo local, but the ones on yahoo local are all pointing to www.example.com even when you search a specific city when it suppose to be www.example.com/cityname. So first thought is to edit all of the yahoo locals to the microsite webpages for every locations but then I thought that wasn't a good idea since I will split the juice passed to the corporate website www.example.com. The corporate website is really important and wouldn't want to weaken its PA. Can someone tell me what are my options in order to not hurt the corporate website and to improve ranking for these weak microsites? should I still edit those yahoo listings to the microsite website or not? if not what how will I be able to build more links? How to improve "Total Links (as shown in SEOMoz)"
I manage http://www.foodieBytes.com and responsible for the site's SEO. I wanted to understand how SEOMoz calculates internal links. I have been trying to improve FoodieBytes internal site structure to increase the internal links number but so far it has not moved. In the image below (Root Domain Matrix as shown on Open Site Explorer on SeoMoz), the first column is for FoodieBytes.com and the second column is for a competitor's site. External link numbers are very close for both sites but the internal links for competition is way high. The number of pages on FoodieBytes and the competitor in the attached image are comparable. I am looking at the "internal link" numbers as a way to improve the "total links" profile for FoodieBytes in hope of SEO improvement for the site. Thanks for input. tyxQo.png
